Classification of thermosetting wood adhesives for non-structural applications

This European Standard classifies thermosetting resin based wood adhesives for non-structural applications into durability classes C1 to C4 based on the dry and wet strengths of bond-lines measured under specified conditions after various conditioning treatments.
For special applications, further tests, which do not fall within the scope of this European Standard can be applicable.
The adhesives specified in this European Standard are suitable for the bonding of furniture and interior structures, panelling, doors, windows, stairs etc. made of wood or derived timber products.

Klassifizierung von duromeren Holzklebstoffen für nichttragende Anwendungen

Diese Europäische Norm stellt ein Klassifizierungssystem für duroplastische Holzklebstoffe für nichttragende Anwendungen auf. Die Klassifizierung in die Beanspruchungsgruppen C1 bis C4 erfolgt auf der Grundlage von Messungen der Festigkeit von Klebstofffugen im nassen und trockenen Zustand unter festgelegten Bedingungen im Anschluss an unterschiedliche Lagerungsfolgen.
Für spezielle Anwendungen können weitere Prüfungen erforderlich sein, die nicht in den Anwendungsbereich dieser Europäischen Norm fallen.
Die in dieser Europäischen Norm behandelten Klebstoffe können für das Verkleben von Möbeln und im Innenausbau sowie bei Bekleidungen, Türen, Fenstern, Treppen usw. angewendet werden, wenn diese aus Holz oder Holzwerkstoffen bestehen.

Classification des colles thermodurcissables pour bois à usages non structuraux

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une classification des colles à bois à résine thermodurcissable destinées à des usages non structuraux ; ces colles sont réparties dans les classes de sollicitation C1 à C4, en fonction de la résistance à sec et de la résistance à l'état humide des joints de colle mesurées dans des conditions spécifiées, après différents traitements de conditionnement.
Pour certaines utilisations particulières, des essais complémentaires ne relevant pas du domaine d’application de la présente Norme européenne peuvent être applicables.
Les colles spécifiées dans la présente Norme européenne conviennent pour le collage de meubles, menuiseries, revêtements de murs, portes, fenêtres, escaliers, etc., en bois ou en matériaux dérivés du bois.

Razvrstitev duromernih lepil za les za nekonstrukcijsko uporabo

Ta evropski standard določa razvrstitev duromernih lepil za les na osnovi smole za nekonstrukcijsko uporabo v razrede trajnosti od C1 do C4 na podlagi mokre in suhe trdnosti veznih linij, izmerjene pod določenimi pogoji po različnih načinih priprave.
Za posebne načine uporabe se lahko uporabljajo dodatni preskusi, ki ne spadajo na področje uporabe tega standarda.
Lepila, opredeljena v tem evropskem standardu, so primerna za vezavo pohištva in notranjih konstrukcij, opažev, vrat, oken, stopnic itd., izdelanih iz lesa ali lesnih proizvodov.

EN 12765:2016 (E) 3 European foreword This document (EN 12765:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 193 “Adhesives”, the secretariat of which is held by AENOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2017, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2017. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 12765:2001. Compared to EN 12765:2001 the following modifications have been made: a) references to tests with thick bond lines have been removed; b) assessment is based on 20 test pieces; c) additional information on conditioning sequences added in Table 2.
