Rubber or plastic coated fabrics - Determination of the static and dynamic coefficient of friction

This test method details a method of assessing the frictional property of coated fabrics. The test consists of measuring the force necessary to move a sled on the surface of coated fabric test specimen and determining the static and dynamic coefficient of friction.

Mit diesem Prüfverfahren wird ein Verfahren zur Bewertung der Reibungseigenschaften von beschichteten textilen Flächengebilden ausführlich dargestellt. Die Prüfung umfasst die Messung der erforderlichen Kraft zum Bewegen eines Schlittens auf der Oberfläche eines Probekörpers des beschichteten Flächengebildes und die Bestimmung des Koeffizienten der Haftreibung und der Bewegungsreibung.

La présente méthode d'essai est une méthode d'évaluation de la résistance au frottement des supports textiles revêtus. L'essai consiste à mesurer la force nécessaire pour déplacer un traîneau à la surface d'une éprouvette de support textile revêtu et à déterminer les coefficients de frottement statique et dynamique.
