This European Standard specifies a method for the recovery of binder from bitumen emulsions in a manner that will permit further testing with minimum changing the characteristics of the binder.
NOTE The binder recovered may not be identical to the original.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Rückgewinnung des Bindemittels aus Bitumenemulsionen fest, das wegen der nur minimalen Veränderungen der Eigenschaften des Bindemittels weitere Prüfungen zulässt.
ANMERKUNG Das rückgewonnene Bindemittel braucht nicht mit dem ursprünglichen Bindemittel identisch zu sein.

This document EN 13074:2002 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 336 "Bituminous binders", the
secretariat of which is held by AFNOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by January 2003, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest
by January 2003.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European
Free Trade Association.
