Plastics piping systems for water supply - Polyethylene (PE) - Part 3: Fittings

This Part of prEN 12201 specifies the characteristics of fittings made from polyethylene (PE) intended for the conveyance of water for human consumption including raw water prior to treatment. It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this standard. In conjunction with other Parts of prEN 12201 it is applicable to PE fittings, their joints and to joints with components of PE and other materials intended to be used under the following conditions: a) a maximum operating pressure, MOP, up to and including 25 bar; b) an operating temperature of 20°C as a reference temperature.

Kunststoff-Rohrleitungssysteme für die Wasserversorgung - Polyethylen (PE) - Teil 3: Formstücke

Diese Norm legt Anforderungen an Formstücke aus PE fest, die für die Wasserversorgung für den menschlichen Gebrauch sowie für die Fortleitung von Rohrwasser, das zur Aufbereitung zu Trinkwasser verwendet wird, eingesetzt werden. Sie legt auch die Prüfparameter für die Prüfverfahren fest, auf die in dieser Norm verwiesen wird. Zusammen mit den übrigen Teilen der prEN 12201 gilt dieser Teil für Formstücke aus PE, deren Verbindungen untereinander sowie mit Rohrleitungsteilen aus PE und anderen Werkstoffen, die unter den folgenden Bedingungen für die Wasserversorgung vorgesehen sind: a) der MOP beträgt nicht mehr als 25 bar.

La présente partie de l'EN 12201 spécifie les caractéristiques des raccords pour les systèmes de canalisations en polyéthylène (PE) dans le domaine de l'alimentation en eau destinée à la consommation humaine, y compris le transport des eaux brutes avant traitement.
Elle spécifie également les paramètres d'essai pur les méthodes d'essai auxquelles il est fait référence dans la présente norme.
Conjointement aux autres parties du prEN 12201, elle s'applique aux raccords, à leurs assemblages et aux assemblages avec des composants en PE et d'autres matériaux destinés à être utilisés selon les conditions suivantes :
a) une pression de service maximale, MOP, pouvant atteindre jusqu'à 25 bar  ) inclus ;
b) une température de service de 20 °C comme température de référence.
NOTE 1   Pour des applications fonctionnant à des températures constantes supérieures à 20 °C et jusqu'à 40 °C voir l'Annexe A de l'EN 12201-1:2003.
La présente Norme européenne comprend une gamme étendue de pressions de service et spécifie les exigences concernant les couleurs et les additifs.
NOTE 2   Il est de la responsabilité de l'acheteur ou du prescripteur d'effectuer le choix approprié de ces aspects, prenant en compte les exigences particulières et les règles nationales correspondantes ainsi que les pratiques ou les codes de pose.
Les types de raccords peuvent être les suivants :
¾ raccords soudables :
¾ raccords soudables bout à bout ;
¾ raccords à emboîture soudables (voir Annexe A) ;
¾ raccords électrosoudables ;
¾ raccords mécaniques :
¾ raccords à compression ;
¾ raccords à bride.
