Characterization of waste - Terminology - Part 2: Management related terms and definitions
This European Standard, EN 13965-2, Characterization of waste - Terminology - Part 2: Management related terms and defintions, gives a compilation of selected and updated terms and definitions, for use by for example producers, waste industry and legislators in the waste management field. It is harmonized with the current language used in management as well as in regulation. It includes, with references (see Annex C), national terms and definitions where such needs have been expressed. It does not include terms related to detailed activities.
The scope of TC 292 excludes radioactive wastes. Therefore, such concepts are not included in this standard.
Definitions in other standards with a scope different from the scope of this European Standard can be different from the definitions in this standard.

Diese Europäische Norm EN 13965-2, Charakterisierung
von Abfällen — Terminologie — Teil 2: Managementbezogene
Begriffe, enthält eine Zusammenstellung
ausgewählter und aktualisierter Begriffe, die
z. B. für Erzeuger, die Abfallindustrie und Gesetzgeber
auf dem Gebiet der Abfallbewirtschaftung bestimmt
sind. Sie ist mit der im Rahmen des Managements und
in den Regelwerken gebräuchlichen Sprache harmonisiert.
Enthalten sind, mit Verweisungen (siehe
Anhang C), nationale Begriffe, die bei Bedarf definiert
sind. In diesem Teil sind keine Begriffe enthalten, die
sich auf einzelne Tätigkeiten beziehen.
Der Anwendungsbereich des CEN/TC 292 umfasst
keine radioaktiven Abfälle. Deshalb sind in der
vorliegenden Norm keine derartigen Begriffe enthalten.
Definitionen in anderen Normen mit einem Anwendungsbereich,
der sich von dem der vorliegenden

La présente Norme européenne EN 13965-2, Caractérisation des déchets – Terminologie – Partie 2 : Termes et définitions relatifs à la gestion, propose un recueil de termes et définitions choisis et mis à jour à l’usage des producteurs de déchets, de l’industrie des déchets et des législateurs intervenant dans le domaine de la gestion des déchets. Elle est harmonisée avec le langage employé dans le domaine de la gestion des déchets et avec le vocabulaire utilisé dans la réglementation. Elle comprend, moyennant des références (voir annexe C), certaines définitions et certains termes nationaux, lorsque la nécessité s’en est fait ressentir. Les termes se rapportant à telle ou telle activité spécifique n’y figurent pas.
Le domaine d’application couvert par le Comité technique CEN/TC 292 exclut les déchets radioactifs. Par conséquent, les notions de ce type ne sont pas comprises dans la présente norme.
Il est possible que les définitions apparaissant dans d’autres normes dont le domaine d’application est différent de celui de la présente Norme européenne soient différentes des définitions données ici.

Ta evropski standard, EN 13965-2, karakterizacija odpadkov - terminologija – 2. del: Izrazi in definicije v zvezi z ravnanjem z odpadki - terminologija, podaja kompilacijo izbranih in posodobljenih izrazov in definicij, ki jih uporabljajo na primer proizvajalci, industrija odpadkov in zakonodajalci na področju upravljanja z odpadki. Usklajen je s trenutnim jezikom, ki se uporablja pri upravljanju kot tudi v pravni ureditvi. Skupaj z referencami (glej Dodatek A) vključuje nacionalne izraze in definicije, kjer so bile potrebe po njih izražene. Ne vključuje izrazov, ki se nanašajo na podrobne dejavnosti.

ponatisa z nacionalnim dodatkom privzet evropski standard EN 13965-2 (en, de, fr), Characterization
of waste – Terminology – Part 2: Management related terms and definitions, 2010.
NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 13965-2:2010 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za
standardizacijo CEN/TC 292 Karakterizacija odpadkov, katerega sekretariat vodi NEN.
Slovenski standard SIST EN 13965-2:2011 ((sl)en,de,fr) je po metodi ponatisa z nacionalnim
dodatkom sprejet evropski standard EN 13965-2:2010. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil
tehnični odbor SIST/TC ODP Odpadki.
Odločitev za privzem tega standarda je dne 3. 11. 2010 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC ODP Odpadki.
NACIONALNI DODATEK
V informativnem dodatku A z naslovom Referenčni predpisi je treba navedene direktive pod točko A.1
zaradi preklica teh direktiv in uveljavitve nove evropske direktive nadomestiti tako, da se točka A.1
glasi:
A.1 Direktiva 2008/98/ES Evropskega parlamenta in Sveta z dne 19. novembra 2008 o odpadkih in
razveljavitvi nekaterih direktiv
Prav tako je pod točko A.2 dodatka A poleg osnovne direktive treba navesti tudi njene spremembe,
tako da se točka A.2 glasi:

NACIONALNI PREDGOVOR
Evropski standard EN 13965-2:2010 je pripravil tehnični odbor Evropskega komiteja za standardizacijo
CEN/TC 292 Karakterizacija odpadkov, katerega sekretariat vodi NEN.
Slovenski standard SIST EN 13965-2:2011 je prevod evropskega standarda EN 13965-2:2010. V
primeru spora glede besedila slovenskega prevoda v tem standardu je odločilen izvirni evropski standard
v angleškem jeziku. Slovensko izdajo standarda je pripravil tehnični odbor SIST/TC ODP Odpadki.
Odločitev za izdajo tega standarda je dne 3. novembra 2010 sprejel tehnični odbor SIST/TC ODP
Odpadki.
