Reinforcement - Specifications for multi-axial multi-ply fabrics - Part 3: Specific requirements

This Part 3 of EN 13473 is a specification of multi-axial multi-ply fabrics made from reinforcement yarns, tows, rovings, fibre fleeces, films, foams or other materials which are intended to provide reinforcement in composite materials and which is bound to a multi-ply construction. This specification defines those parameters which are required for a particular application or processing method.
The parameter specifications do not define absolute or nominal values for any parameter. The values for specified parameters are defined by the application. This specification defines the test methods which shall be used to determine the values and tolerances for each specified parameter to be controlled by the textile manufacturer.
The parameters which shall be defined in the technical specification of multi-axial multi-ply fabrics are defined in clause 4 of this Part.

Anwendungsbereich
Teil 3 der EN 13473 ist eine technische Produktspezifikation von Multiaxialgelegen aus Verstärkungsgarnen,
Werggarnen, Rovings, Faservliesen, Folien, Schäumen oder anderen Materialien, die für die Verstärkung von
Materialien verwendet werden und die zu einer mehrlagigen Konstruktion verbunden sind. Diese technische
Produktspezifikation beschreibt jene Parameter, die für eine besondere Anwendung oder ein Verarbeitungs-verfahren
notwendig sind.
Die technische Produktspezifikation definiert keine absoluten Kennwerte. Die Kennwerte für ausgewählte
Parameter sind durch die jeweilige Anwendung festzulegen. Diese technische Produktspezifikation definiert
Prüfverfahren. Diese sind zur Bestimmung der Kennwerte und Toleranzen für die vom textilen Hersteller zu
kontrollierenden Parameter zu verwenden.
Kennwerte für MultiaxiaIgelege, die in der technischen Produktspezifikation dokumentiert werden müssen,
sind in Abschnitt 4 definiert.

Domaine d'application
La partie 3 de l'EN 13473 est une spécification relative aux tissus multi-axiaux multicouches constitués de fils, brins, stratifils, laines de fibres, films, mousses de renfort ou autres matériaux destinés à renforcer les matériaux composites et liés à une structure multicouche. Cette spécification définit les paramètres requis pour une application ou une méthode de traitement particulière.
Cette spécification technique ne définit pas de valeurs absolues ou nominales pour les paramètres. Les valeurs des paramètres spécifiés sont définies par l'application. Cette spécification technique définit les méthodes d'essai devant être utilisées pour déterminer les valeurs et tolérances pour chaque paramètre spécifié devant être contrôlé par le fabricant textile.
Les paramètres devant être déterminés dans la spécification technique relative aux tissus multi-axiaux multicouches sont définis à l'article 4 de la présente partie.
