Metallic tube connections for fluid power and general use - Test methods for hydraulic fluid power connections (ISO 19879:2010)

ISO 19879:2010 specifies uniform methods for the testing and performance evaluation of metallic tube connections, stud ends for ports and flange connections for use in hydraulic fluid power applications. ISO 19879:2010 does not apply to the testing of hydraulic quick-action couplings, which is covered by ISO 7241-2.
Tests outlined in ISO 19879:2010 are independent of each other and document the method to follow for each test. See the appropriate component International Standard for which tests to conduct and for performance criteria.
For qualification of the connector, the minimum number of samples specified in ISO 19879:2010 is tested, unless otherwise specified in the relevant connector standard or as agreed upon by the manufacturer and the user.

Metallische Rohrverschraubungen für Fluidtechnik und allgemeine Anwendung - Prüfverfahren für hydraulische Rohrverschraubungen in der Fluidtechnik (ISO 19879:2010)

Diese Internationale Norm legt einheitliche Verfahren für die Prüfung und die Bewertung von metallischen
Rohrverbindungen, Einschraubzapfen und Flanschverbindungen für Hydraulikanwendungen fest. Diese
Internationale Norm gilt nicht für die Prüfung von Hydraulik-Schnellkupplungen, die in ISO 7241-2 festgelegt
ist.
Die in dieser Internationalen Norm festgelegten Prüfungen sind voneinander unabhängig und beschreiben das
für die jeweilige Prüfung durchzuführende Verfahren; Prüfanforderungen und Leistungskriterien sind in der
jeweiligen Internationalen Norm über das entsprechende Bauteil enthalten.
Für den Eignungsnachweis der Verbindungsteile muss die in dieser Internationalen Norm festgelegte
Mindestanzahl an Proben einer Prüfung unterzogen werden, sofern in der entsprechenden Norm über die
Verbindungsteile nichts anderes festgelegt ist oder zwischen Hersteller und Anwender vereinbart wurde.

L'ISO 19879:2010 spécifie des méthodes uniformes pour les essais et l'évaluation des performances des raccordements de tube métalliques, des éléments mâles pour orifices et des brides de raccordement destinés à être utilisés dans les applications de transmissions hydrauliques. L'ISO 19879:2010 ne s'applique pas aux essais des raccords rapides pour transmissions hydrauliques, qui font l'objet de l'ISO 7241-2.
Les essais décrits dans l'ISO 19879:2010 sont indépendants les uns des autres et documentent la méthode à suivre pour chaque essai; pour les exigences d'essai et les critères de performance, se référer à la Norme internationale appropriée couvrant le composant.
Pour la qualification du connecteur, le nombre minimal d'échantillons spécifiés dans l'ISO 19879:2010 doit être soumis à l'essai, sauf spécification contraire dans la norme de connecteurs appropriée ou accord entre le fabricant et l'utilisateur.

Ta mednarodni standard določa enotne metode za preskus in vrednotenje delovanja kovinskih cevastih povezav, stojnih vijakov za kanale ter prirobničnih spojev za hidravlične omrežne priključke. Ta mednarodni standard se ne uporablja za preskušanje hitro delujočih hidravličnih spojev, ki so zajeti v standardu ISO 7241-2. Preskusi, ki so navedeni v tem mednarodnem standardu, niso medsebojno odvisni in navajajo metodo, ki se upošteva pri vsakem posameznem preskusu. Za preskuse, ki jih je treba izvesti, in merila učinkovitosti glejte ustrezni del mednarodnega standarda. Za kvalifikacijo konektorja se preskusi najmanjše število vzorcev, ki ga določa ta mednarodni standard, razen če je drugače navedeno v ustreznem standardu za konektorje ali dogovorjeno med proizvajalcem in uporabnikom.

The text of ISO 19879:2010 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 131 “Fluid power systems” of
the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 19879:2010 by
Technical Committee ECISS/TC EC110 “Steel tubes, and iron and steel fittings” the secretariat of which is
held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by March 2011.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 19879:2005.
