Fasteners - Hexagon head bolts with reduced shank (shank diameter ≈ pitch diameter) - Product grade B (ISO 4015:2022)

This document specifies the characteristics of hexagon head bolts with reduced shank (shank diameter approximately equal to pitch diameter), in steel and stainless steel, with metric coarse pitch threads M3 to M20, and with product grade B.
If in certain cases other specifications are requested, property classes and stainless steel grades can be selected from ISO 898-1 or ISO 3506-1, and dimensional options from ISO 888 or ISO 4753.

Dieses Dokument legt Eigenschaften von Sechskantschrauben mit Dünnschaft (Schaftdurchmesser entspricht etwa Flankendurchmesser) aus Stahl und nichtrostendem Stahl mit metrischen Regelgewinden M3 bis M20 in Produktklasse B fest.
Falls in bestimmten Fällen andere Festlegungen benötigt werden, können Festigkeitsklassen sowie Stahlsorten nichtrostender Stähle aus ISO 898 1 oder ISO 3506 1 und maßliche Alternativen aus ISO 888 oder ISO 4753 entnommen werden.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des vis à tête hexagonale partiellement filetées à tige réduite (diamètre de tige environ égal au diamètre sur flanc de filet), en acier et en acier inoxydable, à filetage métrique à pas gros M3 à M20, et de grade B.
Si dans certains cas d’autres spécifications sont requises, les classes de qualité et les grades d’acier inoxydable peuvent être choisis dans l'ISO 898‑1 ou l'ISO 3506‑1, et les options dimensionnelles dans l'ISO 888 ou l'ISO 4753.

Ta dokument določa značilnosti vijakov s šestrobo glavo z zmanjšanim steblom (premer stebla je približno enak premeru navoja) iz jekla in nerjavnega jekla, z metričnim grobim navojem M3 do M20 in razredom izdelave B. Če se v določenih primerih zahtevajo druge specifikacije, je razrede lastnosti in tipe nerjavnega jekla mogoče izbrati po standardih ISO 898-1 ali ISO 3506-1, dimenzijske možnosti pa po ISO 888 ali ISO 4753. This document (EN ISO 4015:2022) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 “Fasteners” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2023, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by January 2023.
