Bituminous mixtures - Test methods for hot mix asphalt - Part 15: Determination of the segregation sensitivity

This European Standard covers the determination of the tendency of segregation of hot mixtures. The tendency of segregation of bituminous mixtures is influenced by the composition of the mixtures in terms of types and amounts of aggregates and bituminous materials. Segregation in a bituminous mixture is caused by e.g. improper loading of the hopper, lorry, or finisher. Note: This method should only be adopted for mixtures having a flow time from the conical bin of less than 15 s. Gummy mixtures containing additives like polymers, fibres etc. may produce confusing results.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren fest, mit dem die Entmischungsneigung von heißem Asphalt ermittelt wird. Die Tendenz der Entmischung von heißem Asphalt wird von der Zusammensetzung der Mischung durch Art und Menge der Zuschlagstoffe und des bitumenhaltigen Materials beeinflußt. Die Entmischung von heißem Asphalt ist zum Beispiel in der unsachgemäßen Beladung des Trichters, des Transportfahrzeugs oder des Fertiges begründet.

Cette Norme européenne spécifie une méthode d'essai pour la détermination de la qualité de malaxage et de la tendance à la ségrégation des mélanges bitumineux à chaud. Cette méthode d'essai est considérée appropriée pour étudier la formulation et pour l'information des clients.
