Personal fall protection equipment - Anchor devices - Recommendations for anchor devices for use by more than one person simultaneously

This Technical Specification sets out recommendations for requirements, test apparatus, test methods, marking and information supplied by the manufacturer for anchor devices intended for use by more than one user simultaneously.
This Technical Specification is not applicable to:
-   anchor devices intended to allow only one user to be attached at any one time, which are covered by EN 795:2012;
-   anchor devices used in any sports or recreational activity;
-   equipment designed to conform to EN 516 or EN 517;
-   elements or parts of structures which were installed for use other than as anchor points or anchor devices, e.g. beams, girders;
-   structural anchors.
NOTE   Requirements, test methods, marking and information supplied by the manufacturer for anchor devices intended for use by a single user are covered by European Standard EN 795:2012.

Persönliche Absturzschutzausrüstung - Anschlageinrichtungen - Empfehlungen für Anschlageinrichtungen, die von mehreren Personen gleichzeitig benutzt werden

Diese Technische Spezifikation stellt Empfehlungen für die Anforderungen, die Prüfeinrichtung, Prüfverfahren, Kennzeichnung sowie Informationen auf, die vom Hersteller für Anschlageinrichtungen, die zur gleichzeitigen Verwendung durch mehrere Personen vorgesehen sind, zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Diese Technische Spezifikation gilt nicht für:
 Anschlageinrichtungen, die so ausgelegt sind, dass die Benutzung durch nur eine Person zu derselben Zeit möglich ist, die in EN 795:2012 behandelt werden;
 Anschlageinrichtungen, die bei Sport- oder Freizeitaktivitäten verwendet werden;
 Anschlageinrichtungen, die so ausgelegt sind, dass sie EN 516 oder EN 517 entsprechen;
 Einzelteile oder Bestandteile von baulichen Einrichtungen, die nicht als Anschlagpunkte oder Anschlageinrichtungen, sondern für einen anderen Verwendungszweck z. B. als Balken, Träger, eingebaut wurden;
 baulich verankerte Befestigungsmittel.
ANMERKUNG Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren, Kennzeichnung sowie Informationen, die vom Hersteller für Anschlageinrichtungen zur Verfügung gestellt werden, die für die Nutzung von einer Person vorgesehen sind, werden in EN 795:2012 behandelt

Ta tehnična specifikacija določa priporočila za zahteve, preskusne naprave, preskusne metode, oznake in informacije, ki jih proizvajalec zagotovi za sidrišča, ki jih uporablja več uporabnikov hkrati. Ta tehnična specifikacija se ne uporablja za:
– sidrišča, namenjena hkratni pritrditvi enega samega uporabnika, ki so opisana v standardu EN 795:2012;

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 30 July 2012 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.

Introduction
A reliable anchor device is one of the essential components in a personal fall protection system.
This Technical Specification, which gives minimum performance requirements, is intended to act as a
complementary specification for existing European Standards covering components used in personal fall
protection systems.
The scope and the requirements are based on the philosophy that anchor devices are rated to sustain the
maximum dynamic force generated in a fall from a height by the mass of more than one person, including any
