This European Standard specifies the requirements, test methods, marking, information supplied by the manufacturer and packaging for guided type fall arresters including a rigid anchor line. This anchor line is usually attached to or integrated in ladders or rungs adequately fixed to suitable structures. Guided type fall arresters including a rigid anchor line conforming to this European Standard are components of one of the fall arrest systems covered by EN 363.
This European Standard applies to rigid anchor lines which are intended to be installed vertically and/or with a combination of forward-leaning angle and/or sideways leaning angle between the true vertical and the vertical +15° (see Figure 2).
Multi-user applications, i.e. rigid anchor lines that allow more than one user to be attached at any one time, are not addressed in this document.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren, Kennzeichnung, Informationen des Herstellers und Verpackung für mitlaufende Auffanggeräte einschließlich fester Führung fest. Diese feste Führung ist in der Regel an Leitern oder Sprossen, die an geeigneten baulichen Einrichtungen angemessen angebracht sind, befestigt oder in diesen eingebaut. Mitlaufende Auffanggeräte einschließlich fester Führung, die dieser Europäischen Norm entsprechen, sind Bestandteile eines der Auffangsysteme nach EN 363.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für feste Führungen, die zur Installation in vertikaler Anordnung und/oder zur Installation in Kombination einer Vorwärts- und/oder  Seitwärtsneigung von bis zu 15° zur absoluten Vertikalen (siehe Bild 2) vorgesehen sind.
Anwendungen für mehrere Benutzer, d. h. feste Führungen, die so ausgelegt sind, dass sie gleichzeitig durch mehrere Personen verwendet werden können, werden in diesem Dokument nicht behandelt.

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences, les méthodes d'essai, le marquage, la notice d'information du fabricant et l'emballage des antichutes mobiles incluant un support d'assurage rigide. Ce support d'assurage est généralement accroché ou intégré à des échelles ou à des barreaux d'ascension fixés de manière adéquate sur des structures appropriées. Les antichutes mobiles incluant un support d'assurage rigide conformes à la présente Norme européenne sont des composants de l'un des systèmes d'arrêt des chutes couverts par l'EN 363.
La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux supports d'assurage rigides destinés à être installés verticalement et/ou en combinaison avec un angle d'inclinaison vers l'avant et/ou un angle d'inclinaison latéral entre la véritable verticale et la verticale  15° (voir Figure 2).
Le présent document ne traite pas des applications destinées à plusieurs utilisateurs, c'est-à-dire des supports d'assurage rigides qui permettent l'accrochage à un moment quelconque de plusieurs utilisateurs.
