EN 1176-5:1998

Playground equipment - Part 5: Additional specific safety requirements and test methods for carousels

This Part of EN 1176 specifies additional safety requirements for carousels of diameter greater than 0,5 m intended for permanent installation for use by children. This standard is applicable to carousels that are used as playground equipment for children, as defined in 3.1. This standard is not applicable to motor-driven carousels, fairground carousels or climbing drums.

Dieser Teil der EN 1176 legt zusätliche sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen an standortgebundene Karusells mit einem Durchmesser größer als 0,5 m fest, die zur Benutzung durch Kinder vorgesehen sind. Diese Norm gilt für Karussells, die, wie in 3.1 definiert, als Kinderspielgeräte dienen. Diese Norm gilt nicht für motorgetriebene Karussells, Karussells auf Rummelplätzen oder Lauftrommeln.

Equipements d'aires de jeux - Partie 5: Exigences de sécurité et méthodes d'essai complémentaires spécifiques aux manèges

La présente partie de l'EN 1176 spécifie les exigences de sécurité complémentaires relatives aux manèges de diamètre supérieur à 0,5 m, destinés à être installés à demeure et à être utilisés par des enfants. La présente norme s'applique aux manèges d'aires de jeux pour enfants, comme définis en 3.1. La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux manèges entraînés par un moteur, aux manèges forains ni aux tambours rotatifs.
