Copper and copper alloys - Determination of tin content - Part 2: Spectrophotometric method

This part of this Technical Specification specifies the spectrophotometric method for the determination of tin content of copper and copper alloys in the form of unwrought, wrought and cast products.
The method is applicable to products having tin mass fractions between 0,005 % and 0,5 %.

Dieser Teil dieser Technischen Spezifikation legt ein spektrophotometrisches Verfahren für die Bestimmung
von Zinngehalten in Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen fest, die als plastisch oder nicht plastisch geformte
Produkte oder als Gussstücke vorliegen.
Das Verfahren ist geeignet für Produkte mit Zinn-Massenanteilen zwischen 0,005 % und 0,5 %.

La présente partie de la Spécification technique spécifie une méthode spectrophotométrique de dosage de
l’étain dans le cuivre et les alliages de cuivre sous forme de produits non corroyés, corroyés et moulés.
Cette méthode est applicable aux produits ayant une teneur en étain comprise entre 0,005 % et 0,5 %.

Ta del te tehnične specifikacije določa spektrofotometrično metodo za določevanje kositra v bakru in bakrovih zlitinah v obliki negnetenih, gnetenih in ulitih polizdelkov. Metoda velja za polizdelke z masnim deležem kositra med 0,005 % in 0,5 %.

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 15 September 2009 for provisional application.

The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.

CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.

CEN members are the national standards bodies of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland,
