IEC 62059-32-1:2011 specifies a method for testing the stability of metrological characteristics of electricity meters, by operating a test specimen at the upper limit of the specified operating range of temperature, voltage and current for an extended period.

La CEI 62059-32-1:2011 spécifie une méthode pour les essais de stabilité des caractéristiques métrologiques des compteurs d'électricité, en faisant fonctionner un exemplaire d'essai à la limite supérieure de la température, de la tension et du courant dans le domaine de fonctionnement spécifié, pendant une durée prolongée.

Stabilnost meteoroloških karakteristik je pomemben vidik trajnosti. Ta del standarda IEC 62059 določa metodo za preskušanje stabilnosti meteoroloških karakteristik števcev električne energije, tako da preskušanec daljše obdobje deluje pri zgornji meji območja delovanja, kar zadeva temperaturo, napetost in tok. Funkcijska zmogljivost, razen točnosti merjenja električne energije, ne spada v področje uporabe tega standarda. Upoštevati je treba, da zaključki glede dolžine obdobja, v katerem se ohrani stabilnost meteoroloških karakteristik, kadar števec deluje v običajnih pogojih, na podlagi rezultatov tega preskusa niso mogoči. Ta mednarodni standard se uporablja za vse vrste števcev električne energije, ki spadajo v področje uporabe IEC TC 13.
