Diese Norm spezifiziert die Bauweise und die Betriebsweise sowie die Anforderungen und die Prüfbestimmungen für die Sicherheit und Kennzeichnung von Haushalt-Kochgeräten für gasförmige Brennstoffe entsprechend EN 30-1-1: 1998 und EN 30-1-1: 1998 /A1:1999 mit einem oder mehreren verdeckten eingeschlossenen Brennern unter einer Glaskeramik-Kochfläche, im folgenden Text als Gerät bezeichnet.
Diese Norm findet Anwendung im Zusammenhang mit EN 30-1-1: 1998 oder sofern zutreffend EN 30-1-4: 2002 und EN 30-1-2: 1999.
Diese Norm enthält nicht alle Sicherheitsanforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Geräte mit Umluft-Backöfen und/oder -Strahlungsgrilleinrichtungen.
Sofern nachstehend nicht ausgenommen, gilt die vorliegende Norm für Geräte oder Geräteteile unabhängig davon, ob die letzteren allein verwendet werden oder in ein Einzelgerät eingebaut sind, auch wenn andere Heizelemente dieses Gerätes mit elektrischer Energie betrieben werden (z.B.: kombinierte Gas-Elektroherde).
Die vorliegende Norm enthält Anforderungen für die elektrische Sicherheit der Geräteteile, die den Betrieb mit Gas betreffen. Sie enthält jedoch keine Anforderungen für die elektrische Sicherheit von elektrisch beheizten Komponenten und der damit verbundenen Ausrüstungsteile ).
Die vorliegende Norm gilt nicht für
- Geräte zum Betrieb im Freien;
- Geräte zum Anschluss an eine Abgasabführung;
- Geräte mit pyrolytischem Gasbackofen;
- Geräte mit Feuerungsautomaten die
· eine zweite Sicherheitszeit haben oder
· einen oder mehrere Brenner regeln, die separate Zündbrenner beinhalten.
- Geräte mit einem offenen oder einem verdeckten seitlich-offenen Brenner.
- Geräte mit Gas/Luftverhältnis-Regelung
- Geräte mit mehr als einem Ventilator für die Verbrennungsluftzufuhr und/oder Abgasabführung aus einem Brennraum
- Geräte für Drücke, die über den in 7.1.2 angegebenen Werten liegen.
Diese Norm enthält keine Anforderungen für Behälter für Gase der dritten Familie, die dazugehörigen Druckregler sowie ihr

La présente norme définit les caractéristiques de construction et de fonctionnement ainsi que les exigences et les techniques d'essai pour la sécurité et le marquage des appareils de cuisson a usage domestique utilisant les combustibles gazeux définis dans l'EN 30-1-1:1998 et l'EN 30-1-1:1998/A1:1999, ayant un ou plusieurs bruleurs couverts enfermés sous une plaque vitrocéramique, désignés dans le texte par « appareils ».
Cette norme doit etre utilisée conjointement a l'EN 30-1-1:1998 et l'EN 30-1-1:1998/A1:1999 ou a l'EN 30-1-4:2002, et quand cela est approprié a l'EN 30-1-2:1999.
Elle ne couvre pas toutes les exigences de sécurité et les méthodes d'essai spécifiques aux fours et/ou grilloirs a convection forcée.
A moins que l'on ne l'exclue ci-apres, la présente norme s'applique aux appareils ou éléments que ces derniers soient indépendants ou incorporés dans l'appareil, meme lorsque d'autres éléments chauffants utilisent l'énergie électrique (par exemple : cuisiniere combinée gaz-électricité).
Cette norme inclue des exigences qui couvrent la sécurité électrique de l'équipement incorporé dans l'appareil associé a l'utilisation du gaz. Elle n'inclue pas les exigences qui couvrent la sécurité électrique des éléments chauffants électriques ni de leurs équipements associés ).
La présente norme ne s'applique pas :
3 aux appareils de plein air ;
3 aux appareils raccordés a un conduit d'évacuation des produits de la combustion ;
3 aux appareils munis de four a gaz a pyrolyse ;
3 aux appareils munis de systeme automatique de commande pour bruleurs qui :
comportent un deuxieme temps de sécurité ; ou
contrôlent un ou plusieurs bruleurs incorporant un bruleur d'allumage séparé ;
3 aux appareils ayant un bruleur découvert ou un bruleur couvert non-enfermé ;
3 aux appareils équipés d'un contrôle du rapport air/gaz ;
3 aux appareils équipés de plus d'un ventilateur pour l'alimentation en air de combustion et/ou l'évacuation des produits de combustion de la chambre

EN 30-1-3:2003 (E)41 ScopeThis standard specifies the construction and performance characteristics as well as the requirements and methodsof test for the safety and marking of domestic cooking appliances, capable of using the combustible gases definedin EN 30-1-1:1998 and EN 30-1-1:1998/A1:1999, having one or more enclosed covered burners under a glassceramic panel, referred to in the text as "appliances".This standard is intended to be used in conjunction with EN 30-1-1:1998 and EN 30-1-1:1998/A1:1999 orEN 30-1-4:2002, and, where appropriate, EN 30-2-1:1999.It does not cover all of the safety requirements and methods of test that are specific to forced convection ovensand/or grills.Unless excluded specifically hereafter, this standard covers appliances or their components, whether or not thecomponent parts are independent or incorporated into a single appliance, even if the other heating components ofthe appliance use electrical energy (e.g. gas-electric-cookers).This standard includes requirements covering the electrical safety of equipment incorporated in the appliance thatis associated with gas. EN 30-1-3:2003 (E)65.1.4Strength5.1.4 of EN 30-1-1:1998 applies except 5.1.4.2 and the following addition:5.1.4.3Glass ceramic panelThe materials used for glass ceramic panels shall have the mechanical characteristics that ensure durabilityagainst damage in normal use.This requirement is deemed to be met if after application of the test given in 7.6.1, the surface of the glass ceramicpanel is not broken and does not show any crack or rupture.In the case of appliance incorporating live parts underneath the glass or glass ceramic surface, the requirementsgiven in 16.3 of EN 60335-2-6:1999 have to be met.5.2.5Ignition systems5.2.6 of EN 30-1-4:2002 applies if the appliance incorporates an automatic burner control system. For otherappliances, 5.2.5 of EN 30-1-1:1998 and EN 30-1-1:1998/A1:1999 is replaced with the following:All the components of the ignition device shall be designed to avoid damage or accidental displacement in normaluse. The relative position of the ignition device and the burner shall be sufficiently well defined to ensuresatisfactory operation of the assembly.When the ignition devices include a permanent pilot, the gas rate of this pilot shall not exceed 0,06 kW for eachburner controlled.If necessary, it shall be possible to adjust the pilot gas rate in the event of a gas change, either by adjuster or bychange of injector.A means shall be provided to cut off the gas supply to any pilot.The ignition system shall meet the requirements of 6.2.1 and 6.3.1 of EN 30-1-1:1998.5.5Additional requirements for the glass ceramic hotplates5.5.1Thermostat and temperature limiterIf the appliance has a thermostat or a temperature limiter for the control of the temperature of the glass ceramicpanel, this shall be designed and arranged so, that the maximum temperature of the glass ceramic panel declaredby its manufacturer is not exceeded.5.5.2Marking of the cooking and warming zoneThe cooking zone shall be clearly visible, if necessary with the aid of marking. When marking is necessary this shallbe durable.If the appliance has warming zones, such zones shall be identified with a marking on the glass ceramic panel. Thepurpose of the marking shall be explained in the instructions for use and maintenance.NOTEThe durability and indelibility of these marking
