Adhesives - T-peel test for flexible-to-flexible bonded assemblies (ISO 11339:2010)
This International Standard specifies a T-peel test for the determination of the peel strength of an adhesive by
measuring the peeling force of a T-shaped bonded assembly of two flexible adherends. This test procedure
does not provide design information.
NOTE This method was originally developed for use with metal adherends but other, flexible, adherends may also be
used.

liefert keine Informationen zur Konstruktion.
ANMERKUNG Dieses Verfahren wurde ursprünglich für Metallfügeteile entwickelt. Andere, flexible, Fügeteile können
ebenso verwendet werden.

L'ISO 11339:2010 spécifie un essai de pelage en T pour la détermination de la résistance au pelage d'un adhésif par mesurage de la force de pelage d'un assemblage collé en forme de T, formé de deux supports flexibles. Ce mode opératoire d'essai ne fournit aucune information concernant la conception.
Cette méthode a été mise au point à l'origine pour des supports métalliques, mais elle peut également être utilisée pour d'autres supports flexibles.

Ta mednarodni standard določa T-preskus luščenja za ugotavljanje luščilne moči lepila z merjenjem luščilne sile dveh gibkih lepljencev, zlepljenih v obliki črke T. Ta preskusni postopek ne zagotavlja informacij o zasnovi.
OPOMBA: Ta metoda je bila prvotno razvita za uporabo s kovinskimi lepljenci, lahko pa se uporabljajo tudi drugi, gibki lepljenci.

This document (EN ISO 11339:2010) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 "Plastics" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 193 “Adhesives” the secretariat of which is held by AENOR.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by August 2010.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an
International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.

ISO 11339 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61, Plastics, Subcommittee SC 11, Products.
This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO 11339:2003), of which it constitutes a minor
revision. The main changes are as follows:
a) the normative references have been updated;
b) explanatory footnotes have been added to Subclause 6.3;
c) the peel strength values calculated are reported in newtons per 100 mm of specimen width (as opposed
to kilonewtons per metre in the previous edition).
In addition, a number of editorial changes have been made to improve the clarity of the text.
