Testing sprayed concrete - Part 7: Fibre content of fibre reinforced concrete

This part of European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the fibre content of sprayed concrete from either a fresh or hardened (i.e. before or after set) concrete sample. Only the method using a fresh sample is appropriate with polymer fibres, while both types are applicable with steel fibres.

Dieser Teil der Europäischen Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Fasergehaltes von Spritzbeton in einer Probe fest, die entweder aus Frischmörtel/-beton oder Festmörtel/-betonFrisch- oder Festbeton (d. h. vor oder nach dem Erstarren) besteht. Bei Polymerfasern  ist nur die Prüfung am Frischbeton geeignet, während bei Stahlfasern beide Prüfmethoden möglich sind.

La présente partie de cette Norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination de la teneur en fibres
du béton projeté sur un échantillon de béton frais ou durci (c’est-a-dire avant ou apres prise). Les deux types
d’échantillons peuvent etre utilisés avec des fibres d’acier, mais seule la méthode portant sur un échantillon
de béton frais convient pour des fibres polymeres.

EN 14488-7:2006 (E) 3 Foreword This European Standard (EN 14488-7:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 104 “Concrete and related products”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2006, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2007.
This European Standard is part of a series concerned with testing sprayed concrete.
