Plastics piping systems for renovation of underground drainage and sewerage networks under pressure - Part 2: Lining with continuous pipes (ISO 11297-2:2018)

This International Standard, read in conjunction with Part 1, specifies requirements and test methods for pipes
and fittings which are part of plastics piping systems installed as continuous pipes in the renovation of
underground drainage and sewerage networks under pressure. It is applicable to PE pipes of three different
types:
- PE solid wall single layered pipes (nominal outside diameter, dn ), including any identification stripes;
- PE pipes with co-extruded layers on either or both the outside and inside of the pipe (total outside
diameter, dn), as specified in Annex A, where all layers have the same MRS rating;
- PE coated pipes (outside diameter, dn) having a peelable, contiguous, thermoplastics additional layer on
the outside of the pipe (“coated pipe”), see Annex A.
In addition it covers:
- jointing of pipe lengths by means of butt fusion;
- fabricated and injection-moulded fittings made of PE;

Diese Internationale Norm legt in Verbindung mit Teil 1 die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Rohre und Formstücke fest, die Teil eines Kunststoff-Rohrleitungssystems sind und die als Rohrstrang-Lining bei der Renovierung erdverlegter Druckentwässerungsnetze eingebaut werden. Sie ist auf drei verschiedene Arten von PE-Rohren anwendbar:
—   einschichtige PE-Vollwandrohre (Nenn-Außendurchmesser, dn), einschließlich jeglicher Kenn-zeichnungsstreifen;
—   PE-Rohre mit koextrudierten Schichten auf entweder der Innen- oder Außenseite des Rohres oder beiden (Gesamt-Außendurchmesser, dn), wie in Anhang A festgelegt, wobei alle Schichten den gleichen MRS-Wert haben;
—   beschichtete PE-Rohre (Außendurchmesser, dn) mit einer abziehbaren, zusammenhängenden, thermoplastischen Zusatzschicht auf der Rohr-Außenseite („beschichtetes Rohr“), siehe Anhang A.
Zusätzlich wird betrachtet:
—   Fügen von Rohrlängen durch Stumpfschweißen;
—   vorgefertigte und Spritzguss-Formstücke aus PE.
Diese Norm ist anwendbar auf PE-Rohre, Formstücke und Baugruppen, die zur Verwendung bei einer Betriebstemperatur von 20 °C als Bezugstemperatur vorgesehen sind.
ANMERKUNG   Bei Anwendungen die mit einer konstanten Temperatur von mehr als 20 °C und bis zu 40 °C betrieben werden, siehe ISO 4427 1:2007, Anhang A.

Systèmes de canalisations en plastique pour la rénovation des réseaux de branchements et de collecteurs d'assainissement enterrés sous pression - Partie 2: Tubage par tuyau continu avec espace annulaire (ISO 11297-2:2018)

ISO 11297-2:2018, lu conjointement avec l'ISO 11297‑1, spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d'essai pour des tuyaux et raccords intégrés aux systèmes de canalisations en plastique installés sous forme de tuyaux continus et utilisés pour la rénovation des réseaux de branchements et de collecteurs d'assainissement enterrés sous pression. Il s'applique aux tuyaux en PE de trois types différents:
-      tuyaux en PE monocouches à paroi compacte (diamètre extérieur nominal, dn), y compris les bandes d'identification éventuelles;
-      tuyaux en PE avec des couches co-extrudées à l'extérieur et/ou à l'intérieur du tuyau (diamètre extérieur total, dn), tels que spécifiés dans l'Annexe A, toutes les couches ayant la même classification MRS;
-      tuyaux revêtus de PE (diamètre extérieur, dn) comportant une couche thermoplastique supplémentaire pelable et contiguë à l'extérieur du tuyau («tuyau revêtu»), voir l'Annexe A.
ISO 11297-2:2018 couvre également:
-      l'assemblage des longueurs de tuyau par soudage bout à bout;
-      les raccords en PE façonnés et moulés par injection.
ISO 11297-2:2018 s'applique aux tuyaux, raccords et montages en PE destinés à être utilisés à une température de fonctionnement de 20 °C, qui est la température de référence.
NOTE       Pour les applications à des températures constantes comprises entre 20 °C et 40 °C, voir l'ISO 4427‑1:2007, Annexe A.

Ta mednarodni standard, bran v povezavi s 1. delom, določa zahteve in preskusne metode za cevi in fitinge, ki so del plastičnih cevnih sistemov, nameščenih kot neprekinjene cevi pri obnovi podzemnih omrežij za odvodnjavanje in kanalizacijo, ki obratujejo pod tlakom. Uporablja se za PE cevi treh različnih tipov: – PE trdne stenske cevi iz ene plasti (nazivni zunanji premer, DN) s kakršnimi koli identifikacijskimi črtami;
– PE cevi s koekstrudiranimi sloji na zunanji in/ali notranji strani cevi (celotni zunanji premer, DN), kot je opredeljeno v dodatku A, pri čemer imajo vsi sloji enako oceno MRS;
– PE prevlečene cevi (zunanji premer, DN) s termoplastičnim dodatnim slojem, ki ga je mogoče odluščiti, na zunanji strani cevi (»prevlečena cev«), glej dodatek A.
Poleg tega zajema: – spajanje dolžin cevi s soležnim taljenjem;
– oblikovane in brizgano lite fitinge iz PE.

This document (EN ISO 11297-2:2018) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 138
“Rehabilitation of pipeline systems” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 “Plastics
piping systems and ducting systems” the secretariat of which is held by NEN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2018, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by August 2018.

Introduction
This document is part of a system standard for plastics piping systems of various materials used for
renovation of existing pipelines in a specified application area. System standards for renovation dealing
with the following applications are either available or in preparation:
— ISO 11296, Plastics piping systems for renovation of underground non-pressure drainage and sewerage
networks;
— ISO 11297, Plastics piping systems for renovation of underground drainage and sewerage networks
under pressure (this application);
— ISO 11298, Plastics piping systems for renovation of underground water supply networks;
— ISO 11299, Plastics piping systems for renovation of underground gas supply networks.
These system standards are distinguished from system standards for conventionally installed plastics
piping systems by the requirement to verify certain characteristics in the “as installed” condition,
after site processing. This is in addition to verification of characteristics of plastics piping systems “as
manufactured”.
Each of the system standards comprises a:
— Part 1: General
and all applicable renovation technique family-related parts, which for drainage and sewerage networks
under pressure include or potentially include the following:
— Part 2: Lining with continuous pipes (this document)
— Part 3: Lining with close-fit pipes
— Part 4: Lining with cured-in-place pipes
— Part 5: Lining with discrete pipes
— Part 6: Lining with adhesive-backed hoses
The requirements for any given renovation technique family are specified in Part 1, applied in
conjunction with the relevant other part. For example, both ISO 11297-1 and this document, together
