Protective equipment for martial arts - Part 1: General requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies the general requirements and test methods for innocuousness, ergonomics, restraint, zone of protection, impact performance as well as provisions for marking and the information supplied by the manufacturer for protective equipment used in martial arts. The protectors covered by this European Standard are mainly designed for using in unarmed martial arts such as taekwondo, karate, kick-boxing and similar disciplines. Additional requirements and test methods for components of protectors for specific kinds of martial arts are specified in further parts of this European Standard.

Schutzausrüstung für den Kampfsport - Teil 1: Allgemeine Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren

Diese Europäische Norm legt die allgemeinen Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren hinsichtlich Unschädlichkeit, Ergonomie, Befestigung, Schutzbereich, Stoßdämpfung sowie Bestimmungen zur Kennzeichnung und Herstellerin-formation für Schutzausrüstungen fest, die beim Kampfsport benutzt wird. Die Schutzausrüstungen, die in dieser Europäische Norm behandelt werden, sind hauptsächlich für die Benutzung bei unbewaffneten Kampfsportarten, wie Taekwondo, Karate, Kick-Boxing und ähnlichen Disziplinen, vorgesehen. Zusätzliche Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Schutzausrüstungen für besondere Kampfsportarten werden in weiteren Teilen dieser Europäischen Norm festgelegt.

Equipement de protection pour les arts martiaux - Partie 1: Exigences et méthodes d'essai générales

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d'essai générales relatives à l'innocuité, à l'ergonomie, au nettoyage, au dispositif de retenue, à la zone de protection, aux performances au choc, ainsi que les dispositions concernant le marquage, et spécifie la notice du fabricant, pour les équipements de protection utilisés dans la pratique des arts martiaux. Les protecteurs relevant de la présente Norme européenne sont principalement destinés à être utilisés dans le cadre de la pratique des arts martiaux sans utilisation d'armes, tels que le taekwondo, le karaté, le kick-boxing et autres disciplines semblables. Les exigences et méthodes d'essai complémentaires relatives aux éléments constitutifs des protecteurs conçus pour des types spécifiques d'arts martiaux sont spécifiées dans les autres parties de la présente Norme européenne.
