This European Standard sets out the requirements and the test method for the rational use of energy of gas burning domestic cooking appliances, in accordance with EN 30 1-1:2008+A3:2013, Clause 1.
This European Standard covers type testing only.

EN 30-2-1:2015 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 30-2-1:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 49 “Gas cooking appliances”, the secretariat of which is held by UNI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2015, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2015. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 30-2-1:1998. This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s). For relationship with EU Directive(s), see informative Annex ZA, which is an integral part of this document. The main technical changes with reference to EN 30-2-1:1998 are: adaptation to the requirements of EN 30-1-1:2008 and relevant amendments; indication on how to carry out the measurement of the efficiency for the hob; formula for the calculation of the efficiency for each gas burner and for the gas hob in line with what indicated in Regulation 66/2014; adaptation of Annex ZA to include the reference to Regulation 66/2014.
