Specifications for particular types of winding wires -- Part 15: Polyesterimide enamelled round aluminium wire, class 180

Specifies the requirements of enamelled round aluminium winding wire of class 180 with a sole coating based on polyesterimide resin, which may be modified providing it retains the chemical identity of the original resin and meets all specified wire requirements. Class 180 is a thermal class that requires a minimum temperature index of 180 and a heat shock temperature of at least 200 °C. The temperature in degrees Celsius corresponding to the temperature index is not necessarily that at which it is recommended that the wire be operated and this will depend on many factors, including the type of equipment involved. The range of nominal conductor diameters covered by this standard is as follows: - grade 1: 0,400 mm up to and including 1,600 mm; - grade 2: 0,400 mm up to and including 5,000 mm. The nominal conductor diameters are specified in Clause 4 of EN 60317-0-3. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are listed below: - new requirements for appearance, Subclause 3.2, added; - springiness test, Clause 7, determined to be inappropriate; - cut-through test, Clause 10, determined to be inappropriate; - high temperature failure test, Clause 22, deleted; - new pin hole test, Clause 23, added.

Spécifie les exigences concernant les fils de bobinage de section circulaire en aluminium émaillé de classe 180 avec un revêtement unique à base de résine polyesterimide qui peut être modifiée pour autant que cette résine conserve l'identité chimique de la résine initiale et réponde à toutes les exigences du fil. La classe 180 est une classe thermique qui exige un indice de température minimal de 180 et une température de choc thermique d'au moins 200 °C. La température en degrés Celsius correspondant à l'indice de température n'est pas nécessairement celle à laquelle il est recommandé d'utiliser le fil; cela dépendra de beaucoup de facteurs, y compris du type d'équipement considéré. La gamme des diamètres nominaux des conducteurs couverte par la présente norme est la suivante: - grade 1: 0,400 mm jusque et y compris 1,600 mm; - grade 2: 0,400 mm jusque et y compris 5,000 mm. Les diamètres nominaux des conducteurs sont spécifiés dans l'Article 4 de la EN 60317-0-3. Les modifications principales par rapport à l'édition précédente sont les suivantes: - nouvelles exigences pour les aspects, Paragraphe 3.2, ajouté; - essai sur l'effet de ressort, Article 7, déterminé comme étant non applicable; - essai de thermoplasticité, Article 10, déterminé comme étant non applicable; - essai de défaillance à haute température, Article 22, supprimé; - nouvel essai de détection des micro-fissures en immersion, Article 23, ajouté.

Določa zahteve za emajliran aluminijev okrogel vodnik razreda 180 z enojnim premazom na osnovi poliesterimidne smole, ki se lahko spremeni, pod pogojem, da ohrani kemično identiteto originalne smole in izpolnjuje vse zahteve za vodnik. Razred 180 je toplotni razred, ki zahteva minimalni temperaturni indeks 180 in temperaturo toplotnega šoka vsaj 200 °C.   Temperatura v stopinjah Celzija, ki ustreza temperaturnemu indeksu, ni nujno temperatura, priporočena za obratovanje vodnika, saj je to odvisno od številnih dejavnikov, vključno z vrsto vključene opreme.  Razpon nominalnih premerov prevodnikov, ki jih zajema ta standard, je naslednji: - stopnja 1: 0,400 mm do vključno 1,600 mm; - stopnja 2: 0,400 mm do vključno 5,000 mm. Nominalne premere prevodnikov določa Klavzula 4 IEC 60317-0-3. Glavne spremembe v primerjavi s predhodno izdajo so navedene v nadaljevanju:  -  nove zahteve za videz,  Podklavzula 3.2, dodano; - preskus prožnosti, Klavzula 7, velja za neprimerno; - preskus prerezovanja, Klavzula 10, velja za neprimerno;- preskus neuspešnosti pri visoki temperaturi, Klavzula 22, izbrisano; - nov preskus poroznosti, Klavzula 23, dodano.

The text of document 55/908/FDIS, future edition 3 of IEC 60317-15, prepared by IEC TC 55, Winding
wires, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as
EN 60317-15 on 2004-09-01.
This European Standard supersedes EN 60317-15:1994 + A1:1998.
The main changes with respect to EN 60317-15:1994 are as follows:
– new requirements for appearance, Subclause 3.2, added;
– springiness test, Clause 7, determined to be inappropriate;
– cut-through test, Clause 10, determined to be inappropriate;
– high temperature failure test, Clause 22, deleted;
– new pin hole test, Clause 23, added.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2005-06-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
