Flat products made of steels for pressure purposes - Part 3: Weldable fine grain steels, normalized

1.1 This Part 3 of EN 10028 specifies requirements for flat products for pressure purposes made of weldable fine grain steels as listed in table 1.  NOTE: Fine grain steels' are understood to mean steels which accordance with EURONORM 103  1.2 The requirements of EN 10028-1 also apply.

Dieser Teil 3 der EN 10028 enthält die Anforderungen an Flacherzeugnisse für Druckbehälter aus den schweissgeeigneten Feinkornbaustählen nach Tabelle 1. Anmerkung: Unter "Feinkornbaustählen" versteht man hier Stähle, die eine Ferritkorngrösse von 6 und feiner bei Prüfung nach EURONORM 103 aufweisen. Zusätzlich gelten die Angaben in EN 10028-1.

La présente partie 3 de l'EN 10028 traite des spécifications relatives aux produits plats pour appareils a pression en aciers a grains fins aptes au soudage conformes aux indications du tableau 1. Remarque: Par "aciers a grains fins" on entend ici les aciers ayant une grosseur de grain ferritique égale ou inférieur a 6 selon les essais définis dans l'EURONORM 103. Ces spécifications s'ajoutent a celles de la premiere partie de la norme EN 10028.

This European Standard specifies the requirements for flat products for pressure equipments made of thermomechanically rolled steels as specified in Table 1.
The steels are not suitable for hot forming.
NOTE 1   At the time of publication of this European Standard, no sufficient data for the standardization of the elevated temperature properties of these steels was available. If their use at such temperatures is intended the conditions for this should be specially agreed between the interested parties.
The requirements of prEN 10028-1:2014 also apply.
NOTE 2   Once this European Standard is published in the EU Official Journal (OJEU) under Directive 97/23/EC, presumption of conformity to the Essential Safety Requirements (ESRs) of Directive 97/23/EC is limited to technical data of materials in this European Standard (Part 1 and this Part 5 of the series) and does not presume adequacy of the material to a specific item of equipment.
