EN 62612:2013/A2:2018 (CENELEC adoption of IEC 62612:2013/A2:2018) sets performance requirements for self‑ballasted LED lamps intended for general lighting services with supply voltages > 50 V. Amendment A2 updates marking, test procedures and acceptance criteria, and adds explicit allowance for using LM‑80 data and IEC 62717 module compliance to reduce test time. This standard is used to verify photometric, colour and lumen‑maintenance performance of retrofit LED lamps and to support regulatory conformity in the European market.

• Test conditions and compliance criteria: Includes requirements on LED package case temperature, r.m.s. input current limits, and disabling of controlgear compensation when using LM‑80 data.
