IEC 62702-1-2:2022 specifies a method of data-quality assurance for writable BD disks (hereafter referred to as "disks") which are specified for long-term data storage, and a data migration method which can sustain the recorded data on disks for long-term audio data preservation. The writable disks include BD recordable disk and BD rewritable disk. IEC 62702-1-2:2022 cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2016. This edition constitutes a technical revision. In order to reflect the updates to ISO/IEC 29121:2021, this edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) ISO/IEC 16963 has been identified as the referee test method for the estimation of lifetime;
b) the ambient conditions for the measurement of maximum data error have been added;
c) the requirements for test drives have been changed considering the use condition of users;
d) the requirements for the estimated lifetime have been defined more clearly;
e) the requirements for the periodic performance test have been defined more clearly.

IEC 62702-1-1:2022 specifies a method of data-quality assurance for writable DVD disks (hereafter referred to as "disks") which are specified for long-term data storage, and a data migration method which can sustain the recorded data on disks for long-term audio data preservation. The writable disks include recordable disks such as DVD-R, and +R format, and rewritable disks such as DVD-RW, +RW format and DVD-RAM. IEC 62942:2019 specifies a file format for interchanging audio data between compliant equipment. It is primarily intended for audio applications in professional recording, production, post-production, and archiving.
It is derived from the AES31-2 [2] but is also compatible with variant specifications including EBU Tech 3285 [3] to [10], ITU-R BR.1352-3-2007 [11] to [14], and the Japan Post Production Association's BWF-J [15].
This document contains the specification of the broadcast audio extension chunk and its use with PCM-coded audio data. Basic information on the RIFF format and how it can be extended to other types of audio data is given in Annex E. Details of the PCM WAVE format are also given in Annex A.
An optional extended format, BWF-E, supports 64-bit addressing to permit file sizes greater than 4 GB.

IEC TS 62871-2:2019 specifies implementation guidelines for mapping MPEG-2 video and AVC streams into MXF file format for professional tape-less camera recorders.
The guidelines are applicable to the creation of an MXF file in professional tape-less camera recorders. They are also applicable for content management software and to equipment that supports MXF files generated by professional tape-less camera recorders.

IEC 62702-1-2:2017(E) specifies a method of data-quality assurance for writable disks which are specified for long-term data storage, and a data migration method, which can sustain the recorded data on disks for long-term audio data preservation. The writable disks include Blu-ray Disk (BD) Recordable disk and BD Rewritable disk.
This document specifies the physical and logical aspects for a standard of audio archives of various storage types which are typically used for audio archives in markets.
The IEC 62702 series consists of:
- IEC 62702-1, which specifies the minimum requirements on physical aspects of optical disks for digital sound recordings; IEC 62702-1-1 specifies requirements for DVD optical disks, IEC 62702-1-2 specifies requirements for BD optical disks.
- IEC 62702-2, which specifies the minimum requirements for digitization of content, format of digitized content, content information and media inspection.

IEC 62071-2:2005 defines the DV-based data structure for the interface of digital audio, subcode data and compressed video with the following parameters:
- 525/60 system - 4:1:1 image sampling structure, 25 Mb/s data rate;
- 525/60 system - 4:2:2 image sampling structure, 50 Mb/s data rate;
- 625/50 system - 4:1:1 image sampling structure, 25 Mb/s data rate;
- 625/50 system - 4:2:2 image sampling structure, 50 Mb/s data rate. This bilingual version (2013-07) corresponds to the monolingual English version, published in 2005-10.

IEC 62071-3:2005 defines the format of the data stream for the synchronous exchange of DV-based audio, data, and compressed video (whose data structure is defined in SMPTE 314M) over the interface defined in SMPTE 305M. It covers the transmission of audio, subcode data and compressed video packets associated with DV-based 25 and 50 Mb/s data structures including faster-than-real-time transmission for 525/60 SDTI and 625/50 SDTI systems. This bilingual version (2013-07) corresponds to the monolingual English version, published in 2005-10.

IEC 62356-3:2003 specifies the mapping of type D-11 compressed picture data stream into the SDTI payload area (SMPTE 305.2M) together with the mapping of four channels of AES3 data and time-code data into H-ANC packets. Type D-11 compressed picture data-stream mapping is defined for source-coded picture rates of 24/1,001/P, 24/P, 25/P, 50-I, 30/1,001/P and 60/1,001. For the transmission of compressed picture data coded at source picture rates of 25/P and 50/I, the SDTI interface operates at a frame rate of 25 Hz. For the transmission of compressed picture data coded at source picture rates of 30/1,001P and 60/1,001I, the SDTI interface operates at a frame rate of 30/1,001 Hz.
