IEC 62676-2-11:2024 defines minimum requirement profiles for Video Management Systems (VMS) and cloud Video-Surveillance-as-a-Service (VSaaS) Systems to optimize interfacing with third parties.
It defines minimum required VMS interoperability levels from video export to exclusive video control, for the sake of remote support, for example in crisis situations, regulating governmental organizations, national law enforcement, private security service companies, public transport operators and other authorities.
This document is intended to set the common technical basis for national regulations requiring inter-organizational remote, local or on-site access, for example so that authorities can be granted temporary access to the VSS in the case of emergency situations.
This standard is accordingly expected to supersede ISO 22311 (Societal Security - Video-surveillance - Export interoperability).

IEC 62106-6:2023 contains the technical specifications for Open Data Applications in the public domain. This document is maintained by the RDS Forum Office. The RDS Forum Office applies an easy procedure for registering new Open Data Applications, to ensure that they can be used without the need to change the RDS standard. The ODA feature permits defining new applications that can be decoded on a receiver. The receiver needs to the adequate software handler for the specific AID, which identifies the application. Receivers that have not implemented the software handler needed for decoding are not affected by ODA data received for any of the applications already defined and specified. The procedure for registering a new ODA is described in IEC 62106-3.

IEC TR 63449:2023 presents a study of the impact of high dynamic range (HDR) technologies with "dynamic metadata" on TV luminance and power consumption. It compares the power consumption of content with dynamic metadata to the same content without dynamic metadata. Non-dynamic "static metadata" HDR technologies such as HDR10 and non-metadata HDR such as HLG, were previously studied in IEC TR 63274:2021.
This document also reviews the current HDR TV market and analyses existing HDR TV power measurement methods and considerations for any changes to those power measurement standards.
While this document studies the results of content that include Dolby Vision® and HDR10+ dynamic metadata, any comparison of these two technologies is outside of the scope of this document.

IEC 61966-12-1:2020 is available as IEC 61966-12-1:2020 RLV which contains the International Standard and its Redline version, showing all changes of the technical content compared to the previous edition.
IEC 61966-12-1:2020 defines the colour gamut metadata scheme for video systems and similar applications. The metadata can be associated with wide-gamut video colour content or to a piece of equipment to display the content. When associated with content, the colour gamut metadata defines the gamut for which the content was created. It can be used by the display for controlled colour reproduction even if the display’s colour gamut is different from that of the content. When associated with a display, the colour gamut metadata defines the display colour gamut. It can be used during content creation to enable improved colour reproduction. The colour gamut metadata can cover associated colour encoding information, which includes all information required for a controlled colour reproduction, when such information is not provided by the colour encoding specification. The colour gamut metadata scheme provides scalable solutions. For example, more flexible solutions will be used for the professional use, while much simpler solutions will be used for consumer use with easier product implementation. This part of IEC 61966 only defines the colour gamut metadata scheme. Vendor-specific solutions for creation and end-use of this metadata are allowed. IEC 61966-12-1:2020 cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2011. This edition constitutes a technical revision. IEC 62106-3:2018 defines the Open Data Application (ODA) feature of the Radio Data System (RDS). The ODA feature in essence allows raw data to be transmitted via a transparent data channel from a service provider to a suitably equipped receiver without there being any prior knowledge of the data content by the IEC 62106 standard. This document defines the method of packaging the data within the RDS group structure and the identification of the data (using the Application Identification, AID) such that it can be addressed by an appropriate decoder on the receiver.
