Control functions in electronic systems for gas burners and gas burning appliances - Methods for classification and assessment
This standard deals with control functions of electric and electronic controls that are used to prevent unsafe operation of gas burners and gas burning appliances. For this purpose the standard specifies methods for the assessment of function blocks with regards to their fault behaviour and preventative measures. Function blocks which are not covered by dedicated control standards (see Annex 1)
are within the scope of this standard. An electric or an electronic device which contains a control function is based on the
principle that it provides the same safety level as other technologies (e. g. mechanical
solutions).
Regel- und Steuerfunktionen in elektronischen Systemen für Gasbrenner und Gasgeräte - Verfahren für die Klassifizierung und Bewertung
Diese Europäsche Norm legt Verfahren für die Klassifizierung und Bewertung von Funktionsblöcken, insbesondere hinsichtlich ihres Fehler¬verhaltens und der Schutzmaßnahmen, fest, die für den Betrieb von Gasbrennern und Gasgeräten vorgesehen sind.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Regel- und Steuerfunktionsblöcke, die nicht in einer eigenständigen Norm zu Regel und Steuergeräten behandelt werden, wie in Anhang F festgelegt.
Diese Europäische Norm ist für die Typprüfung vorgesehen.

La présente Norme européenne traite des fonctions de commande des équipements électriques et électroniques utilisées pour prévenir tout risque de fonctionnement non sûr des brûleurs à gaz et des appareils à gaz.
La présente Norme européenne est applicable à la commande des blocs de fonction de commande qui ne sont pas couverts par des normes particulières (voir Annexe F).
La présente Norme européenne ne recouvre que les essais de type.

Ta evropski standard določa metode za klasifikacijo in ocenjevanje funkcijskih blokov, načrtovanih za upravljanje plinskih gorilnikov in aparatov, ki uporabljajo plin, zlasti glede njihovega odziva na napake in preventivne ukrepe. Ta evropski standard velja za nadzorne funkcijske bloke, ki jih ne zajema standard, namenjen nadzoru, kot je opredeljeno v Dodatku F. Ta evropski standard je namenjen tipskemu preskušanju.
