Fixed firefighting systems - Components for gas extinguishing systems - Part 9: Requirements and test methods for special fire detectors

This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for for special fire detectors, other than fire detectors covered by EN 54, used inert gas- or halo-carbon-gas fire extinguishing systems. Special fire detectors are heat sensitive devices, including a mounting device, designed to react at a predetermined temperature by: - bursting of a glass bulb; - melting of a fusible element.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für spezielle Branderkennungselemente zum Einsatz in CO2-, Inertgas- oder Feuerlöschanlagen mit halogeniertem Kohlenwasserstoff fest, die nicht durch EN 54-1 erfasst werden.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für spezielle Branderkennungselemente, die durch
   Platzen eines Glasfässchens oder
   Schmelzen eines Schmelzlotelements
ansprechen.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d'essai relatives aux détecteurs spéciaux d'incendie autre que les détecteurs traités dans l'EN 54, les systèmes d'extinctions d'incendie utilisant un gaz inerte ou un gaz halogéné. Les détecteurs spéciaux d'incendie sont des dispositifs sensibles à la chaleur comportant un dispositif de montage et conçus pour réagir à une température pré-déterminée par: - éclatement d'une ampoule de verre; - fusion d'un élément fusible.
