Plastics - Poly(methyl methacrylate) sheets - Types, dimensions and characteristics - Part 3: Continuous cast sheets (ISO 7823-3:2007)

ISO 7823-3:2007 specifies requirements for non-modified flat poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) continuous cast sheets for general-purpose use. The sheets may be colourless or coloured, and may be transparent, translucent or opaque.
The thickness range of the sheets covered by this part of ISO 7823 is 1 mm to 10 mm.

Dieser Teil von ISO 7823 legt die Anforderungen an flache (durch Stranggießen hergestellte) Endlosprodukte (Platten) aus unmodifiziertem Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA) für allgemeine Zwecke fest. Die Tafeln dürfen farblos oder gefärbt und durchsichtig, durchscheinend oder undurchsichtig sein.
Der Dickenbereich der in diesem Teil der ISO 7823 behandelten Tafeln beträgt 1 mm bis 10 mm.

This document (EN ISO 7823-3:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61
"Plastics" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of
which is held by NBN.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2007, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2007.

This document supersedes EN ISO 7823-3:2004.

According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
