Corrosion protection of metals - Electrodeposited coatings - Method of specifying general requirements

This European Standard establishes a method of specifying general requirements for electrodeposited coatings applied to metallic materials for corrosion protection.  This European Standard is for use in conjunction with other European Standards which specify the electrodeposited coating required, e.g., pr EN 12329 "Corrosion protection of metals - Electrodeposited coatings of zinc with supplementary treatment on iron or steel". This European Standard does not specify requirements for the condition, finish or surface roughness of the basis metal prior to the coating process.

Korrosionsschutz von Metallen - Galvanische Überzüge - Verfahren für die Spezifizierung allgemeiner Anforderungen

Diese europäische Norm legt allgemeine Anforderungen an galvanische Überzüge, die auf Metallen zum Zwecke des Korrosionsschutzes abgeschieden worden sind, fest. Diese Norm ist für die Verwendung in Verbindung mit anderen Europäischen Normen vorgesehen, die den erforderlichen galvanischen Überzug beschreiben, z.B. prEN 12329 "Korrosion von Metallen - Galvanische Zinküberzü e auf Eisenwerkstoffen mit zusätzliche Behandlung". Diese Norm legt keine Anforderungen über den Zustand, das Aussehen oder die Oberflächenbeschaffenheit des Grundmetalls vor der Abscheidung fest.

Protection contre la corrosion des métaux - Revêtements électrolytiques - Méthode de spécification des prescriptions générales

La présente norme européenne constitue une méthode de spécification des prescriptions générales applicables aux revêtements électrolytiques, appliquée aux métaux destinés à être protégés contre la corrosion. La présente norme européenne est destinée à être utilisée en association avec les normes européennes de spécifications des revêtements électrolytiques souhaités, par exemple le prEN 12329 "Protection des métaux contre la corrosion - Revêtements électrolytiques de zinc sur fer ou acier avec traitements supplémentaires".
