Metallic and other inorganic coatings - Thermal spray coordination - Tasks and responsibilities (ISO 12690:2010)

ISO 12690:2010 specifies the tasks and responsibilities necessary to ensure the quality of a thermal sprayed coating or a coated component, including the coordination of activities related to thermal spraying.
Thermal spraying coordination can be carried out by one or a number of persons within the same company or manufacturing department.
The responsibilities of the spraying coordinator are specified by the manufacturer.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Aufgaben und Verantwortung einschließlich der Koordinierung der mit dem
thermischen Spritzen verbundenen Tätigkeiten fest, die notwendig sind, um die Qualität von thermisch
gespritzten Schichten oder beschichteten Bauteilen zu sichern.
Die Spritzaufsicht kann von einer oder mehreren Personen innerhalb eines Unternehmens oder einer
Fertigungsabteilung ausgeführt werden.
Die Anforderungen an die Spritzaufsicht werden vom Hersteller festgelegt.

L'ISO 12690:2010 spécifie les tâches et les responsabilités qui s'exercent dans le cadre de la coordination des activités liées à la projection thermique et qui sont nécessaires pour garantir la qualité d'un revêtement obtenu par projection thermique ou d'un composant d'un revêtement.
La coordination en projection thermique peut être réalisée par une ou plusieurs personnes au sein de la même entreprise ou du même service de production.
Les responsabilités incombant au coordonnateur de projection sont spécifiées par le fabricant.

EN ISO 12690:2010 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN ISO 12690:2010) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 240 “Thermal spraying and thermally sprayed coatings”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN, in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 “Metallic and other inorganic coatings”. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by June 2011. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 13214:2001.
