ISO 27830:2008 specifies the technical requirements of metallic and other inorganic coatings in order to develop consistent technical standards and establishes a standard format for designating the coatings. It applies to International Standards for electrodeposited, autocatalytic and vapour deposited coatings.
Metallische und andere anorganische Überzüge - Leitfaden zur Spezifikation von metallischen und anorganischen Überzügen (ISO 27830:2008)
Diese Internationale Norm legt die technischen Anforderungen an metallische und andere anorganische Überzüge fest, um einheitliche technische Normen zu entwickeln und um einen genormten Aufbau für die Bezeichnung der Überzüge zu erstellen. Sie gilt für Internationale Normen für Überzüge, die durch elektrolytische (galvanische) und autokatalytische Metallabscheidung und Aufdampfverfahren hergestellt werden.
In dieser Internationalen Norm sind keine ausführlichen Anforderungen an einzelne Überzüge angegeben, diese können jedoch den Internationalen Normen entnommen werden, die in den Literaturhinweisen auf¬gelistet sind.
Diese internationale Norm gilt nicht für Überzüge, die durch thermisches Spritzen und Emaillieren hergestellt werden.
Diese Internationale Norm muss nicht in technischen Normen, Produktspezifikationen, Verträgen, Bestellungen oder technischen Zeichnungen angegeben werden, weil ein Berufen auf ein „Verfahren zur Spezifizierung“ in diesen Dokumenten vertraglich nicht bindend ist.
Eine Norm für Überzüge muss folgende Hauptabschnitte aufweisen:
- Einleitung (freigestellt)
- 1. Anwendungsbereich (obligatorisch)
- 2. Normative Verweisungen (obligatorisch)
- 3. Begriffe (obligatorisch)
- 4. Informationen, die dem Hersteller der Überzüge vom Auftraggeber (Händler) zur Verfügung zu stellen sind (obligatorisch)
- 5. Bezeichnung (obligatorisch)
- 6. Anforderungen (obligatorisch)
- 7. Probenahme (obligatorisch)
- Anhänge A, B, C usw. (freigestellt)
- Literaturhinweise (freigestellt)
Der Anwendungsbereich muss den Verwendungszweck der Norm festlegen und die Werkstoffe und Produkte angeben, für die sie gilt, zusammen mit jeglichen bekannten Einschränkungen. Der Anwendungsbereich enthält ebenfalls Warnungen oder Vorsichtsmaßnahmen hinsichtlich der Gefahren für die Gesundheit und der Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz, internationale und die Umwelt betreffende Vorschriften und Rechtsvorschriften in fetter Schrift, z. B.:
WARNUNG — Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass diese Internationale Norm nicht mit den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen einiger Länder zum Arbeits- und Gesundheits- und Umweltschutz übereinstimmt und die Verwendung von Substanzen und/oder Verfahren verlangt, die gesundheitsschädlich sein können, wenn keine geeigneten Sicherheitsvorkehrungen getroffen werden. Diese Internationale Norm enthält keine Ausführungen zu Gesundheitsgefährdungen, Sicherheits- oder Umweltaspekten und Gesetz¬gebungen, die mit deren Anwendung in Zusammenhang stehen. Es liegt in der Verantwortung des Anwenders dieser Internationalen Norm, geeignete Maßnahmen zur Einhaltung von nationalen, regionalen und/oder internationalen Bestimmungen und Verordnungen hinsichtlich Arbeits-, Gesundheits- und Umweltschutz festzulegen.
Die Befolgung mit dieser Internationalen Norm entbindet nicht von der Verpflichtung zur Einhaltung gesetzlicher Bestimmungen.
Revêtements métalliques et autres revêtements inorganiques - Lignes directrices pour spécifier des revêtements métalliques et inorganiques (ISO 27830:2008)
L'ISO 27830:2008 spécifie les exigences techniques relatives aux revêtements métalliques et autres revêtements inorganiques afin d'élaborer des normes techniques cohérentes, et établit un format normalisé pour désigner les revêtements. Elle s'applique aux Normes internationales relatives aux dépôts par voie électrolytique, autocatalytique et en phase vapeur.

EN ISO 27830:2013 (E) 3 Foreword The text of ISO 27830:2008 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 107 “Metallic and other inorganic coatings” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 27830:2013 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 262 “Metallic and other inorganic coatings” the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2014, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2014. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. This document supersedes EN 1403:1998.
