ISO 12625-12:2010 specifies a test method for the determination of the tensile strength of perforated lines of tissue paper. It uses a tensile-testing apparatus operating with a constant rate of elongation.
This method is only used for measuring machine-direction tensile strength, that is for cross-direction perforations on tissue paper.
The calculation of perforation efficiency is also specified in ISO 12625-12:2010.

Dieser Teil der ISO 12625 legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der breitenbezogenen Bruchkraft an
Perforationen von Tissue-Papier fest. Hierfür wird ein Zugprüfgerät benutzt, das mit einer konstanten Dehngeschwindigkeit
arbeitet.
Diese Verfahren wird nur für die Messung der breitenbezogenen Bruchkraft in Maschinenlaufrichtung angewendet,
demzufolge also für die Perforation von Tissue-Papier in Maschinenquerrichtung.
Die Berechnung der Perforations-Effizienz wird ebenfalls in diesem Teil der ISO 12625 festgelegt.
Darüber hinaus wird ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass zur Erkennung von Unreinheiten und Verunreinigungen
in Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkten ISO 15755 angewendet werden kann.
Für die Bestimmung des Feuchtegehaltes in Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkten kann ISO 287 angewendet
werden.

L'ISO 12625-12:2010 spécifie une méthode d'essai permettant de déterminer la résistance à la rupture par traction des lignes de prédécoupe du papier tissue. Elle utilise un appareil d'essai de traction fonctionnant à une vitesse d'allongement constante.
Cette méthode doit être utilisée uniquement pour mesurer la résistance à la traction dans le sens machine, donc pour des lignes de prédécoupe dans le sens travers du papier tissue.
Le calcul de l'efficacité des perforations est également indiqué dans l'ISO 12625-12:2010.

Ta del ISO 12625 določa preskusno metodo za ugotavljanje natezne trdnosti perforacije tissue papirja.  Uporablja napravo za preskušanje natezne trdnosti, ki deluje s stalno stopnjo raztezka. Ta metoda se uporablja samo za merjenje natezne trdnosti v smeri gibanja v stroju, to je za perforacije v prečni smeri na tissue papirju. Izračun učinkovitosti perforacij je prav tako določen v tem delu ISO 12625. Izrecno je navedeno, da se odkrivanje nečistoč in nasprotovanj v tissue papirju in tissue izdelkih lahko izvaja v skladu z ISO 15755. Za določanje vsebnosti vlage v tissue papirju in tissue izdelkih se lahko uporabi ISO 287.

Foreword

ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies

(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO

Introduction

Tissue papers such as toilet paper and kitchen towel are often pre-cut. They are used after separation of two

consecutive sheets.
It is important to know the efficiency of the pre-cut perforations.

The perforation strength should be enough to ensure the product cohesion, but not too high, so that sheets

can be easily separated. Depending on the type of tissue product, forces can be applied perpendicular to the

perforation lines, or in the direction of the perforation lines.

This part of ISO 12625 has been prepared by harmonizing those standards applicable to tissue paper and

tissue products that are currently in use. It specifies a procedure to determine perforation efficiency based on

the method described in ISO 12625-4 for the determination of the tensile strength of tissue paper and tissue

products.

1 Scope

This part of ISO 12625 specifies a test method for the determination of the tensile strength of perforated lines

of tissue paper. It uses a tensile-testing apparatus operating with a constant rate of elongation.

This method is only used for measuring machine-direction tensile strength, that is for cross-direction

perforations on tissue paper.

The calculation of perforation efficiency is also specified in this part of ISO 12625.

It is expressly stated that the detection of impurities and contraries in tissue paper and tissue products can be

carried out according to ISO 15755.

For the determination of moisture content in tissue paper and tissue products, ISO 287 can be applied.
