This European Standard specifies the requirements for product discharge and air inlet valves for use on transportable tanks with a minimum working pressure greater than 50 kPa for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail.
It is applicable to equipment for use on tanks with gravity and/or pressure discharge.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Produktabsperr- und Gaswechselventile für die Verwendung
an Tanks mit einem maximalen Betriebsdruck von mehr als 50 kPa für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter auf der
Straße und auf der Schiene fest.
Sie gilt für Ausrüstungen für Tanks, die mittels Schwerkraft und/oder Druck entleert werden.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux vannes de mise en pression et de déchargement du produit sur les citernes transportables, dont la pression de service minimale est supérieure à 50 kPa, pour le transport routier ou ferroviaire des matières dangereuses.
Elle est applicable aux équipements utilisés sur les citernes à déchargement par gravité et/ou sous pression.
