This standard specifies a method for determining long term resistance of textiles to attack by microorganisms/mixed cultures.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes pour la détermination de la résistance des textiles à l'action des champignons microscopiques. Les résultats des essais sont évalués par un examen visuel et par le mesurage des propriétés physiques des textiles. Ces essais sont applicables à tous les produits textiles, y compris les textiles en fibres cellulosiques ou synthétiques (voir l'annexe B).
