Fire blankets

This document specifies requirements for fire blankets which are not reusable and that are intended for use by one person.
It specifies requirements for fire blankets usable to control small fires. It also limits the risk of electric shock in case of unintentional use on live electrical equipment.
Fire blankets that are large enough are considered suitable to be used for smothering persons whose clothes are on fire.

Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen an Löschdecken fest, die nicht wiederverwendbar sind und die zur Benutzung durch eine einzelne Person bestimmt sind.
Es legt Anforderungen an Löschdecken fest, die zur Bekämpfung kleiner Brände eingesetzt werden. Außerdem begrenzt es das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlags bei unbeabsichtigtem Einsatz in Verbindung mit spannungsführenden elektrischen Geräten.
Löschdecken von ausreichender Größe gelten als geeignet, um damit die brennende Kleidung an Personen zu löschen.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives aux couvertures anti-feu à usage unique et prévues pour être mises en œuvre par une seule personne.
Il spécifie les exigences relatives aux couvertures anti-feu destinées à être utilisées pour maîtriser des petits feux. Il limite par ailleurs le risque de choc électrique en cas d'utilisation involontaire sur des appareils électriques sous tension.
En vue d'étouffer les flammes, les couvertures anti-feu dont les dimensions sont suffisamment grandes sont considérées pertinentes pour être utilisées sur des personnes dont les vêtements sont enflammés.

Ta dokument določa zahteve za požarne odeje, ki niso za večkratno uporabo in so namenjene za uporabo pri eni sami osebi.
Določa zahteve za požarne odeje, ki so uporabne za obvladovanje manjših požarov. Prav tako omejuje tveganje za električni udar v primeru nenamerne uporabe na električni opremi pod napetostjo.
Dovolj velike požarne odeje so primerne za uporabo pri gašenju oseb, katerih oblačila gorijo.
