Non-destructive testing - Eddy current testing - General principles and guidelines

This standard defines the general principles to be applied to the eddy current non-destructive examination of products and materials in order to provide a defined and repeatable performance. 1 Anwendungsbereich
Diese Europäische Norm legt die allgemeinen Grundlagen für die zerstörungsfreie Prüfung mit dem Wir-
belstromverfahren von Produkten und Werkstoffen fest, um eine definierte und wiederholbare Durchfüh-
rung sicherzustellen.
Sie enthält Richtlinien für die Erstellung von Anwendungsdokumenten, die die speziellen Anforderungen
für die Anwendung und den Gebrauch der Wirbelstromprüfung auf ein Prüfgut beschreiben

La présente norme définit les principes généraux applicables aux examens non destructifs de matériaux et produits par la méthode des courants de Foucault afin d'assurer un niveau de performance défini et reproductible.
Elle comprend des recommandations pour la rédaction des documents d'application, qui décrivent les prescriptions spécifiques à l'utilisation et la mise en ¿uvre de la méthode des courants de Foucault pour un produit donné.
