Small craft - Bilge-pumping systems (ISO 15083:2003)

ISO 15083:2003 specifies requirements for pumping or alternative means designed to remove normal accumulations of bilge water for small craft with a hull length up to 24 m according to ISO 8666.
ISO 15083:2003 does not set requirements for bilge pumps or bilge-pumping systems designed for damage control.

Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen für das Abpumpen oder alternative Möglichkeiten zum Entfernen von üblichen Mengen von Wasser fest, das sich üblicherweise in der Bilge ansammelt. Sie gilt für kleine Wasserfahrzeuge mit einer Rumpflänge LH bis 24 m nach ISO 8666.
Diese Internationale Norm legt keine Anforderungen für Lenzpumpen oder Lenzeinrichtungen zum Zwecke der Leckbegrenzung fest.

L'ISO 15083:2003 spécifie les exigences relatives au pompage ou aux autres moyens utilisés pour lutter contre l'accumulation normale d'eau dans la cale des petits navires d'une longueur de coque inférieure ou égale à 24 m, mesurée conformément à l'ISO 8666.
L'ISO 15083:2003 n'établit pas d'exigences pour les pompes de cale ou les systèmes de pompes de cale destinés à contrôler l'eau provenant d'une avarie.

This document (EN ISO 15083:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 "Small craft", the
secretariat of which is held by CMC.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by August 2003, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by
August 2003.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European
Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s).
