Bitumen and bituminous binders - Specifications for paving grade bitumens
This European Standard provides a framework for specifying a range of properties and relevant test methods for bitumens, which are suitable for use in the construction and maintenance of roads, airfields and other paved areas, together with requirements for assessment and verification of constancy of performance.
This European Standard does not directly address ‘cohesion, adhesion and setting ability’ (see Introduction).
NOTE Although industrial bitumens are specified according to EN 13305, it is underlined that paving grade bitumens, specified according to this European Standard, can also be used for industrial applications.
Bitumen und bitumenhaltige Bindemittel - Anforderungen an Straßenbaubitumen
Diese Europäische Norm stellt ein Rahmenwerk für die Spezifizierung einer Reihe von Eigenschaften und der entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für Bitumen, die geeignet sind für Bau und Erhaltung von Straßen, Flugplätzen (Landeplätzen) und sonstigen befestigten Flächen, sowie Anforderungen für die Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit zur Verfügung.
Diese Europäische Norm spricht nicht direkt Kohäsion, Adhäsion und Abbindevermögen (siehe Einleitung) an.
ANMERKUNG Obwohl Industriebitumen nach EN 13305 festgelegt sind, wird betont, dass nach dieser Europäischen Norm festgelegte Straßenbaubitumen auch als Industriebitumen verwendet werden können.

La présente Norme européenne définit un cadre de spécifications associé à une série de propriétés et de méthodes d'essai appropriées aux bitumes utilisables pour la construction et l’entretien des chaussées routières, aéroportuaires et d’autres chaussées, ainsi que les exigences pour l’évaluation et la vérification des performances de consistance.
La présente Norme européenne ne considère pas directement «la cohésion, l’adhésion et l’aptitude au durcissement» (voir Introduction).
NOTE Bien que les bitumes industriels soient spécifiés dans la norme EN 13305, il est rappelé que les bitumes routiers spécifiés dans la présente Norme européenne, peuvent également être utilisés pour des applications industrielles.
