Tanks for the transport of dangerous goods - Tank equipment for the transport of liquid chemicals - Foot valves

This European Standard specifies the requirements for footvalves for use on transportable tanks with a minimum working pressure greater than 50 kPa for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail.
It is applicable to equipment for use on tanks with gravity and/or pressure bottom loading and discharge.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Bodenventile für die Verwendung an Tanks mit einem
maximalen Betriebsdruck von mehr als 50 kPa für die Beförderung gefährlicher Güter auf der Straße und auf
der Schiene fest.
Sie gilt für Ausrüstungen für Tanks mit Untenbefüllung und -entleerung mittels Schwerkraft und/oder Druck.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences relatives aux clapets de fond utilisés sur les citernes transportables dont la pression de service minimale est supérieure à 50 kPa et qui sont destinées au transport de matières dangereuses par route et par fer. Elle est applicable aux équipements utilisés pour le chargement par le bas ou la vidange gravitaire et/ou sous pression des citernes.
