This European Standard provides the reaction to fire classification procedure for electric cables.
NOTE For the purpose of this European Standard the term "electric cables" covers all power, control and communication cables, including optical fibre cables.

Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren zur Klassifizierung des Brandverhaltens von elektrischen Kabeln fest.
ANMERKUNG Für die Anwendung dieser Europäischen Norm deckt der Begriff -elektrische Kabel- alle Starkstrom-, Steuer- und Kommunikationskabel einschließlich Glasfaserkabel ab.

La présente Norme européenne fournit la procédure de classement de réaction au feu pour les câbles électriques.
