Head protectors for ice hockey players

This European Standard specifies performance requirements and tests for head protectors for ice hockey players. The intent is to reduce the risk of injury to the head without compromising the form or appeal of the game. Requirements and the corresponding methods of test, where appropriate, are given for the following: - construction; - shock absorbing properties; - puck impact resistance; - penetration; - retention system properties; - field of vision; - marking and information.

Kopfschutz für Eishockeyspieler

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an die Funktionsfähigkeit und Prüfungen für den Kopfschutz für Eishockeyspieler fest. Es soll damit die Gefahr einer Verletzung des Kopfes verringert werden, ohne die Form oder die Attaktivität des Spieles zu beeinflussen. Anforderungen und entsprechende Prüfverfahren, wo anwendbar, sind für folgende Punkte festgelegt: - Konstruktion; - Stoßdämpfende Eigenschaften; - Puckaufprallwiderstand; - Durchdringungsfestigkeit; - Eigenschaften der Trageeinrichtung; - Sichtfeld; - Kennzeichnung und Information.

Protections de tête des joueurs de hockey sur glace

La présente norme européenne s'applique aux exigences relatives aux performances et aux essais des protections de tête des hockeyeurs. L'objectif est de réduire le risque de blessure à la tête sans compromettre pour autant l'aspect ou l'attrait même du jeu. Les exigences requises et les méthodes d'essai correspondantes, s'il y a lieu, sont données pour les caractéristiques suivantes: - fabrication; - propriétés d'absorption des chocs; - résistance à l'impact du palet; - pénétration, - propriétés du systèmes de rétention; - champ de vision; - marquage et informations.
