Emission safety of combustible air fresheners - Methodology for the assessment of test results and application of recommended emission limits
This European standard specifies the methodology for the assessment of test results from the emissions of a combustible air freshener, when tested according to EN 16738 and follows REACH Guidance and consumer habits and practices to produce a consumer exposure assessment. It provides reference to published emission limit or guidance values.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Verfahren zur Bewertung von Prüfergebnissen der Emissionen eines brennbaren Lufterfrischers bei der Prüfung nach prEN 16738 fest und richtet sich nach dem REACH Leitfaden und den Verbrauchergewohnheiten und praktiken, um eine Beurteilung der Exposition der Verbraucher zu erstellen. Es wird auf veröffentlichte Emissionsgrenzwerte bzw. Richtwerte verwiesen.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthodologie d'évaluation des résultats d'essai relatifs aux émissions d'un désodorisant à combustion, dans le cadre d'essais conformes à l’EN 16738 ; cette méthodologie suit les Lignes directrices REACH, et les habitudes et les pratiques des consommateurs afin d'obtenir une évaluation de l'exposition de ces derniers. Elle fournit une référence à des valeurs limites d'émission publiées ou à des valeurs guides.

Ta evropski standard določa metodologijo za oceno rezultatov preskusa emisij gorljivih osvežilnikov zraka, kadar je takšen preskus izveden v skladu s standardom EN 16738 in ob upoštevanju smernic REACH ter navad in praks potrošnikov, da se zagotovi ocena izpostavljenosti potrošnikov. Podaja reference za objavljene mejne vrednosti emisij ali priporočene vrednosti.
