This document specifies a test method for the determination of the tensile strength of perforated lines of tissue paper. It uses a tensile-testing apparatus operating with a constant rate of elongation.
This method is only used for measuring machine-direction tensile strength, that is for cross-direction perforations on tissue paper.
The calculation of perforation efficiency is also specified in this document.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der breitenbezogenen Bruchkraft von Perforationslinien von Tissue-Papier fest. Hierfür wird ein Zugprüfgerät benutzt, das mit einer konstanten Dehnungs¬geschwindigkeit arbeitet.
Dieses Verfahren wird nur für die Messung der breitenbezogenen Bruchkraft in Maschinenlaufrichtung angewendet, demzufolge also für die Perforationen von Tissue-Papier in Maschinenquerrichtung.
Die Berechnung der Perforationseffizienz wird ebenfalls in diesem Dokument festgelegt.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode d’essai permettant de déterminer la résistance à la rupture par traction des lignes de prédécoupe du papier tissue. Cette méthode implique l’utilisation d’un appareil d’essai de traction fonctionnant à un gradient d’allongement constant.
Cette méthode est utilisée uniquement pour mesurer la résistance à la rupture par traction dans le sens machine, c’est-à-dire pour des lignes de prédécoupe dans le sens travers du papier tissue.
Le calcul de l’efficacité des perforations est également indiqué dans le présent document.

Standard ISO 12625-12:2010 določa preskusno metodo za ugotavljanje natezne trdnosti perforacije pri papirju za robčke. Uporablja napravo za preskušanje natega, ki deluje s stalno hitrostjo raztezanja.
Ta metoda se uporablja samo za merjenje natezne trdnosti v smeri obdelave, to je za perforacije v navzkrižni smeri na papirju za robce.
Izračun učinkovitosti perforacije je podan v standardu ISO 12625-12:2010.

This document (EN ISO 12625-12:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 6 "Paper,
board and pulps" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 172 “Pulp, paper and board” the
secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2023, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2023.
