Aluminium and aluminium alloys - Aluminium sheet, strip and plate for electrotechnical applications

This European Standard specifies the technical conditions of inspection and delivery, the mechanical properties, and electrical conductivity of wrought aluminium sheet, strip and plate for electrotechnical applications such as bus bars and other conductors, products requiring a certain minimum electrical conductivity.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les conditions techniques de contrôle et de livraison, les propriétés mécaniques et la conductivité électrique de tôles, bandes et tôles épaisses en aluminium corroyé pour applications électrotechniques telles que barres omnibus et autres conducteurs, produits exigeant une conductivité électrique minimale.
Elle s'applique aux produits d'épaisseur supérieure à 0,20 mm, jusqu'à 150 mm inclus.
NOTE   Certains des produits cités dans la présente norme peuvent faire l'objet d'un brevet ou d'une demande de brevet, et leur inclusion dans la présente norme ne doit être en aucune façon considérée comme l'attribution d'une licence au regard des droit attachés à de tels brevets.
Le CEN/TC 132 confirme que dans le cas où le détenteur d'un brevet refuserait de céder des licences sur les produits normalisés sous des conditions raisonnables et non discriminatoires, alors ce produit doit être éliminé de la norme correspondante.

EN 14121:2003 (E)41 ScopeThis European Standard specifies the technical conditions for inspection and delivery, the mechanical properties andelectrical conductivity of wrought aluminium sheet, strip and plate for electrotechnical applications such as bus barsand other conductors, products requiring a certain minimum electrical conductivity.It applies to products with a thickness over 0,20 mm up to and including 150 mm.NOTESome of the products listed in the present standard can be subject to patent or patent applications, and their listingherein does not in anyway imply the granting of a licence under such patent right.CEN/TC 132 affirms it’s policy that in the case when a patentee refuses to grant licenses on standardised standardproducts under reasonable and not discriminatory conditions, then this product shall be removed from thecorresponding standard.2 Normative referencesThis European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference, provisions from other publications.
