Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Methods of measurement of the dimensions of hoses and the lengths of hose assemblies (ISO 4671:2007)

ISO 4671:2007 specifies methods of measuring the inside diameter, outside diameter (including diameter over reinforcement of hydraulic hoses), wall thickness, concentricity and lining and cover thickness of hoses, methods of measurement and identification of the lengths of hoses and hose assemblies, and a method of verifying the through-bore of hydraulic hose assemblies.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Verfahren fest zur Messung der Innendurchmesser, Außendurchmesser
(einschließlich des Durchmessers über der Verstärkung von Hydraulikschläuchen), Wanddicke, Konzentrizität
und Dicke der Innenschicht und Außenschicht von Schläuchen, ein Verfahren zur Nachprüfung der
Durchgangsöffnung von Hydraulikleitungen sowie Verfahren zur Messung und Festlegung der Länge von
Schläuchen und Schlauchleitungen.

L'ISO 4671:2008 spécifie des méthodes de mesurage du diamètre intérieur, du diamètre extérieur (y compris le diamètre sur armature des flexibles hydrauliques), de l'épaisseur de paroi, de la concentricité, des épaisseurs du tube et du revêtement, des méthodes de mesurage et d'identification de la longueur des tuyaux et flexibles, ainsi qu'une méthode de vérification de l'alésage des flexibles hydrauliques.

This document (EN ISO 4671:2007) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and
rubber products" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 “Rubber and plastics hoses and
hose assemblies” the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by June 2008.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 4671:2000.
