LPG equipment and accessories - Automotive LPG vehicles workshops - Part 1: Working areas and procedures

This European Standard sets out the requirements for automotive LPG working areas and procedures, aimed at reducing the risk of fire and explosion of LPG when the following types of work or activity are carried out:
a)   equipping vehicles with an LPG system to use LPG for propulsion purposes;
b)   maintenance, servicing and repairs to the LPG system;
c)   any other LPG vehicle maintenance, servicing or repairs not involving the LPG system.
The operations described in items a) and b) above are undertaken in dedicated LPG working areas, whereas item c) is undertaken in general service working areas.
This Standard does not address how to equip a vehicle with an LPG retrofit system or how to repair or maintain an LPG vehicle.
NOTE   Such provisions are normally provided in the instruction manuals issued by the relevant manufacturers.

Flüssiggas-Geräte und Ausrüstungsteile - Werkstätten für Autogasfahrzeuge - Teil 1: Arbeitsbereiche und Verfahren

DDiese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Autogas-Arbeitsbereiche und Verfahren fest, deren Ziel es ist, die Brand  und Explosionsgefahr durch Flüssiggas beim Ausführen der folgenden Arten von Arbeiten oder Maßnahmen zu vermindern:
a)   Ausrüsten von Fahrzeugen mit einer LPG Anlage für den Antrieb mit Flüssiggas;
b)   Wartung, Instandhaltung und Reparaturen der LPG Anlage;
c)   alle sonstigen Wartungs , Instandhaltungs  oder Reparaturaufgaben an Flüssiggas-Fahrzeugen, die die LPG Anlage nicht betreffen.
Die unter den vorstehend aufgeführten Punkten a) und b) beschriebenen Arbeiten werden in speziellen Flüssiggas-Arbeitsbereichen durchgeführt, wohingegen Punkt c) in allgemeinen Arbeitsbereichen für Wartungsarbeiten erfolgt.
Diese Norm enthält keine Angaben dazu, wie ein Fahrzeug mit einem Flüssiggas-Nachrüstsystem ausgestattet wird oder wie Reparaturen oder Wartungsarbeiten an Flüssiggas-Fahrzeugen durchgeführt werden.
ANMERKUNG   Solche Angaben sind üblicherweise in den Gebrauchsanleitungen enthalten, die von den jeweiligen Herstellern geliefert werden.

Équipements GPL et leurs accessoires - Ateliers pour véhicules automobiles fonctionnant au GPL - Partie 1: Zones de travail et modes opératoires

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences relatives aux zones de travail des systèmes GPL automobiles ainsi que les modes opératoires visant à réduire les risques d’incendie et d’explosion du GPL lorsque sont réalisés les types de travail ou d’activité suivants :
a)   équipement de véhicules en systèmes GPL pour utiliser le GPL à des fins de propulsion ;
b)   maintenance, révision et réparation de systèmes GPL ;
c)   toute autre opération de maintenance, révision et réparation d’un véhicule GPL ne concernant pas le système GPL.
Les opérations décrites aux points a) et b) ci-dessus sont réalisées dans des zones de travail dédiées au GPL, alors que les opérations du point c) sont entreprises dans des zones de service générales.
La présente norme ne traite ni de l’installation d’un système d’adaptation GPL sur un véhicule, ni de la réparation ou de l’entretien d’un véhicule GPL.
NOTE   De telles dispositions figurent normalement dans les manuels d’instructions remis par les fabricants concernés.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za delovna območja in postopke za naslednje vrste del ali dejavnosti:
a) opremljanje vozil za uporabo utekočinjenega naftnega plina s trajno nameščenimi vsebniki LPG;
b) vzdrževanje, servisiranje in popravila sistemov LPG, nameščenih v vozilih;
c) vzdrževanje, servisiranje in popravila na vozilih, ki ne vključujejo sistema LPG.  
Postopki, opisani v točkah a) in b) zgoraj, se izvajajo v posebnih delovnih območjih za LPG, postopki iz točke c) pa v splošnih delovnih območjih.
