The text of document 65A/454/FDIS, future edition 1 of IEC 61326-2-1, prepared by SC 65A, System
aspects, of IEC TC 65, Industrial-process measurement and control, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC
parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 61326-2-1 on 2006-02-01.
The EN 61326 series supersedes EN 61326:1997 + corrigendum September 1998 + A1:1998 + A2:2001
+ A3:2003.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2006-12-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2009-02-01
This European Standard has been prepared under a mandate given to CENELEC by the European
