Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-15: Particular requirements for appliances for heating liquids
IEC 60335-2-15:2012 deals with the safety of electrical appliances for heating liquids for household and similar purposes, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V. Appliances intended for normal household and similar use and that may also be used by laymen in shops, in light industry and on farms, are within the scope of this standard. If the appliance is intended to be used professionally to process food for commercial consumption, the appliance is not considered to be for household and similar use only. As far as is practicable, this standard deals with the common hazards presented by appliances that are encountered by all persons in and around the home. However, in general, it does not take into account persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities; orlack of experience and knowledge prevents them from using the appliance safely without supervision or instruction or children playing with the appliance. This sixth edition cancels and replaces the fifth edition published in 2002 including its Amendment 1 (2005) and its Amendment 2 (2008). The principal changes in this edition as compared with the fifth edition of IEC 60335-2-15 are as follows: - added requirements for soy milk makers; - added requirements for dynamic pressure cookers; - expanded requirements for cordless kettles to cover cordless appliances throughout document; - reorganized 7.12 so that instructions related to generic types of appliances covered by this part are listed first; - converted notes to normative (5.2, 7.12, 19.101, 22.7, 22.106, 24.1.5, 24.4, 25.101) text; - deleted Note in 19.102. The attention of National Committees is drawn to the fact that equipment manufacturers and testing organizations may need a transitional period following publication of a new, amended or revised IEC publication in which to make products in accordance with the new requirements and to equip themselves for conducting new or revised tests. It is the recommendation of the committee that the content of this publication be adopted for implementation nationally not earlier than 12 months or later than 36 months from the date of publication. La CEI 60335-2-15:2012 traite de la sécurité des appareils électriques de chauffage des liquides, pour usages domestiques et analogues, dont la tension assignée n'est pas supérieure à 250 V. Les appareils destinés normalement à un usage domestique et analogue et qui peuvent être également utilisés par des usagers non avertis dans des magasins, chez des artisans et dans des fermes sont compris dans le domaine d'application de la présente norme. Toutefois, si un appareil est destiné à être utilisé par des professionnels pour la préparation d'aliments à des fins commerciales, cet appareil n'est pas considéré comme étant uniquement à usage domestique et analogue. Dans la mesure du possible, la présente norme traite des risques ordinaires présentés par les appareils, encourus par tous les individus à l'intérieur et autour de l'habitation. Cependant, cette norme ne tient pas compte en général des personnes (y compris des enfants) dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales; ou le manque d'expérience et de connaissance les empêchent d'utiliser l'appareil en toute sécurité sans surveillance ou instruction; de l'utilisation de l'appareil comme jouet par des enfants. Cette sixième édition annule et remplace la cinquième édition parue en 2002, son Amendement 1 (2005) et son Amendement 2 (2008). Par rapport à la cinquième édition de la CEI 60335-2-15, les principales modifications indiquées ci-après ont été apportées dans la présente édition (les modifications mineures ne sont pas mentionnées): - ajout d'exigences pour les préparateurs de lait de soja; - ajout d'exigences pour les appareils de cuisson sous pression dynamique; - extension des exigences pour les bouilloires sans câble pour couvrir les appareils sans câble dans tout le document; - réorganisation de 7.12 de manière à ce que les instructions concernant les types génériques d'appareils couverts par la présente partie soient énumérés en tête de liste; - notes transposées en texte normatif (5.2, 7.12, 19.101, 22.7, 22.106, 24.1.5, 24.4, 25.101); - suppression de la Note 19.102. L'attention des Comités Nationaux est attirée sur le fait que les fabricants d'appareils et les organismes d'essai peuvent avoir besoin d'une période transitoire après la publication d'une nouvelle publication CEI, ou d'une publication amendée ou révisée, pour fabriquer des produits conformes aux nouvelles exigences et pour adapter leurs équipements aux nouveaux essais ou aux essais révisés. Le comité recommande que le contenu de cette publication soit entériné au niveau national au plus tôt 12 mois et au plus tard 36 mois après la date de publication. Standard obravnava varnost električnih aparatov za gretje tekočin za gospodinjske in podobne namene, pri čemer njihova nazivna napetost znaša največ 250 V. Aparati, namenjeni za laično uporabo v trgovinah in drugih objektih za običajne gospodinjske namene, ne spadajo v okvir tega standarda. Če je aparat namenjen za strokovno uporabo za predelavo hrane za komercialno uporabo, se ne šteje, da je njegova uporaba le gospodinjska ali podobna. Ta standard v največji možni meri obravnava splošne nevarnosti, ki jih predstavljajo aparati ter s katerimi se srečujejo osebe doma in v podobnih okoljih. Vendar na splošno ne upošteva igre majhnih otrok z aparatom in zelo majhnih otrok, ki uporabljajo aparate. Ne upošteva igre otrok z naslednjimi aparati: - tlačni kuhalniki; - klejni lonci z vodnim ohišjem; - kotli za živalsko krmo; - sterilizatorji; - pripravljavci sojinega mleka; - pralni kotli. Ne upošteva primerov, ko majhni otroci brez nadzora uporabljajo naslednje aparate: - ponve; - počasni kuhalniki; - parni kuhalniki; - čajniki; - kuhalniki za riž; - kavomati; - grelniki vode; - kuhalniki za jajca; - grelniki za mleko. Ugotovljeno je, da imajo lahko zelo ranljive osebe potrebe, ki presegajo raven, obravnavano v tem standardu.
