BRIEF HISTORY
The IS0 Recommendation R 1660, Technical drawings - Tolerances of form and of position - Part III :
Dimensioning and tolerancing of profiles, was drawn up by Technical Committee ISO/TC 10, Drawings (Genera2
principles), the Secretariat of which is held by the Association Suisse de Normalisation (SNV).
Work on this question led to the adoption of Draft IS0 Recommendation No. 1660, which was circulated
to all the IS0 Member Bodies for enquiry in September 1968. It was approved, subject to a few modifications of
an editorial nature, by the following Member Bodies :
