FOREWORD
A standard reference temperature for industrial length measurements was
considered by the International Organization for Standardization through its
Technical Committee ISO/TC 3 - Limits and Fits, the Secretariat of which
is held by the Association Française de Normalisation.
This Committee examined ISA l) Bulletin 24 - Reference Temperafure
with a view to adopting or revising it.
During its first meeting, held on 4 and 5 July 1949 in Paris, the Technical
Committee ISO/TC 3 unanimously decided, without discussion, to adopt ISA
Bulletin 24 as a Draft IS0 Recommendation.
The following Member Bodies took part in this meeting:
Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands,
Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, U.S.S.R.

AVANT-PROPOS
La température normale de référence des mesures industrielles de longueur
a été étudiée par l’organisation Internationale de Normalisation, au sein de
son Comité Technique ISO/TC 3 - Ajustements, dont le Secrétariat est assumé
par l’Association Française de Normalisation.
Ce Comité a examiné le Bulletin ISA 1) 24 -- Temptrature de référence,
en vue de l’adopter ou de le réviser.
Au cours de sa première réunion, tenue les 4 et 5 juillet 1949 B Paris, le
Comité Technique ISO/TC 3 décida à l’unanimité, sans discussion, d’adopter
le Bulletin ISA 24 comme Projet de Recommandation ISO.
Les Comités Membres suivants avaient participé à -cette réunion :
